I Know How To Cultivate The Technique

Aiden continued to stare blankly for a while before regaining his balance. He then let out a breath of relief.

He was shocked to realise that he had misinterpreted the words of the writer. (A/N: I decided to call it 'writer' instead of 'maker of technique' to make it less confusing).

However, he realized that this wasn't his fault too. When he was reading about the Divine tribulations earlier, a deep sense of dread overcame him. He felt that anything relating to the Divine Tribulations was highly dangerous, and hence, he had to stay as far away as possible from anything that mentioned the Divine Tribulations.

He didn't know why, but that was how he truly felt. Because of this feeling, he immediately panicked and tried his best to remain calm and indifferent.

His first thought was immediately stop cultivating the technique because he thought the technique would kill him. In fact, the explanation of the writer was quite clear and he never stated that point people who had the lightning power couldn't cultivate the technique. It was just because of that dreaded feeling that he interpreted it his way.

He was sure the dreaded feeling was also something that the writer did. Even though he didn't know why, he was highly sure of this and the next sentence in the technique only confirmed his suspicions.

'I intentionally wrote about the Divine tribulations using my spiritual sense to instil a sense of dread in the reader. This way, I will be able to find the most suitable readers. However, if you are able to make it this far, then it means you are suitable and courageous enough to cultivate this technique.'

Aiden just sighed a continued. The writer of this technique must have been very eccentric!

After all, who would decide to do something like this just so he would be able to find a suitable reader? Moreover, he nearly fell for the man's tricks!

"What is the spiritual sense?" Aiden asked Ariel. The writer mentioned it and he wanted to know what it was lest he falls for the same trick when used somewhere else.

"...." Ariel didn't reply.

"Ariel?"

"I don't know!" Ariel said in a somewhat confused and ignorant voice. She really didn't know!

"Oh, I see," Aiden said with a smile on his face.

He then continued with the technique.

'The Only thing I will tell you to do in this first step is to summon the first Divine tribulations and survive it!"

"Summon the divine tribulation and survive it? What does this mean?" Aiden couldn't help but sigh dejectedly. It seems like the writer of the technique was strange after all.

At first, Aiden was thinking about why someone would try to scare people from cultivating a technique he or she created. To make matters worst, he or she made the technique so it can be used.

At first, Aiden thought it was because those who don't have lightning power can't cultivate the technique. However, it seems like he was wrong. The writer of the technique was strange after all.

After all, how can you create a technique and even name it whilst giving almost no information as to how to cultivate the technique?

Funnily though, Aiden tried to check the second stage but he couldn't access it. It was there, in his mind, but he couldn't access it no matter what he did. It was as if the writer didn't want him to read the next section unless he was done with the first one.

"Sigh.... "

Aiden laid on his bed weakly, taking everything he had learnt whilst trying to figure out how to cultivate the technique. Even though he was angry with the writer, he had still not given up. At least not yet.

He would only give up after he cultivated the first stage and failed.

"I don't think I can cultivate this technique..." Aiden said to Ariel.

"I think I know what the technique wants you to do!" Ariel suddenly said shocking Aiden.

".... " Aiden abruptly stood up.

"What do you mean?" He asked in anticipation. He couldn't help but listen in anticipation. After all, this technique was a technique that he wanted to cultivate.
