Chelsea Appears

"To fight someone who has exhausted all their power and continue attacking them , don't you feel any of shame?"

A familiar voice echoed in Aiden's ears prompting him to look into the sky.

When he did though, he was shocked. Standing behind Andras was someone Aiden knew very well. In fact, they could even be said to be very close friends.

That person was someone Aiden normally talked to. Someone who had helped Aiden choose books in the library. Someone who had told him about the Search feature in the library and also, someone who he had seen the week before.

'Chelsea? What is she doing here?'

Aiden thought, his eyes fixed on the person standing behind Andras.

Yes, the person Aiden was seeing now was none other than, Chelsea, the librarian at the City Library.

At this moment though, Chelsea just like Mr White, Andras or even Mr Hodge was flying. Yes, you heard it right, flying. She was the person who had stopped Andras from shooting of the fireball.

Andras glanced at the young girl who had held his hand and he immediately sensed danger. However, when he tried to move his hand, he realised that he couldn't do anything at all. He couldn't even move.

Andras turned around and without even looking at the target, he sent a punch towards Chelsea when he realised when he realised she wasn't as simple as she seemed.

Yet before his punch could even connect, it was stopped by a soft but firm hand. He then heard a chuckle behind him that made a shiver run down his spine.

"Surprisingly, you have a good reaction speed for someone your level. But against me, it is absolutely useless!" Chelsea's voice echoed yet again. However, if one was to listen closely this time, they would be able to sense an aura of coldness in it.

After saying that, Chelsea casually flinged her hand and Andras was sent flying.

'Andras was sent flying without the ability to retaliate!' Aiden thought as he looked at Chelsea gravely.

The fight between Andras and Chelsea had taken less than a second and even Aiden wasn't able to see what really happened. The only thing he saw happen was Chelsea appearing and Andras flying. That was it. He didn't see any other thing apart from that.

Just as Aiden was thinking about how strong Chelsea was, he saw Mr Hodge slowly sneaking up on Chelsea. Without doubt, he was planing to use the fight that just happened between Chelsea and Andras as a curtain to attack Chelsea.

"Che—"

Aiden was about to warn Chelsea when he heard the latter's voice.

"For an old man like you to launch a sneak attack on a junior, don't you feel ashamed?" Chelsea asked and Mr Hodge paused for a moment, seemingly shocked that Chelsea was able to detect him.

Even though most people thought that he hadn't fought Mr White yet, but that was a lie. Using an artifact that he got from his ancestors, he was able to hide himself even from rank 2 Ascension realm experts. The artifact also had the ability to hide attacks and make them invisible to the human eye.

Truth was,he had been fighting Mr White with Andras all this while. He made his attacks invisible in order to make Mr White underestimate the attacks from Andras thinking it was the only one sent at him.

Mr White had sensed the attacks when he was ambushed. However, he didn't pay any attention to the attack since he thought it was only Andras who was attacking him. Yet, Mr Hodge had hidden his attacks and it actually his attacks that caused that much of severe damages to Mr White.

He had used the same thing when he was planing to attack the little girl. He was also caught by surprise when the girl was able to fight and even defeat Andras so quickly. Even he couldn't do something like that.

Luckily, he reacted quickly and launched back sneak attack when he thought the girl was distracted but before he could even move, he heard the voice of the girl.

He was shocked for a moment when he was revealed, yet the next moment, he placed all his strength into one punch and sent it towards the girl.

Yet, the next moment, the girl did something that made him open his mouth widely in shock.

The girl just calmly side stepped dodging his attack and grabbed his right hand — the same hand he had used for the Attack.

The next moment, he felt huge amounts of mana ran through his hand. It was so much that he couldn't even fathom the strength off the girl. It was at this moment that he realised something strange.

It was at this moment that he realised he has f*cked up.

His hand exploded the next moment leaving his screaming in agony.

***********

A few moments earlier....

Aiden was about to warn Chelsea about the attack when he heard the latter's voice.

For an old man like you to launch a sneak attack on a junior, don't you feel ashamed?" Chelsea asked and Mr Hodge paused for a moment, seemingly shocked that Chelsea was able to detect him.

Yet, the next moment, he launched an attack. Chelsea on the other hand slowly sidestepped and then held the hand Mr Hodge had used for the attack.

*Splat!*

Blood splatted everywhere as Mr Hodge screamed in agony. To his horror, Chelsea had somehow managed to tear off Mr Hodge's right hand rendering him almost useless.

Just when he thought that everything had calmed down, Aiden heard Andras' voice,

"Who are you?"

Turning his head to the direction of the voice, Aiden saw Andras standing in the midst of a rubble. One that he had created himself.

"Who am I?" Chelsea mumbled. The next moment, she said something that made Aiden and Andras both nearly curse her in anger.

"I am just the weak librarian in the City Library," Chelsea stated with a proud gaze.
