Andras' True Identity

"They are using their fists?" Aiden mumbled in confusion. When he first arrived in this round and figured that there was magic there, he thought that the mages in this world only used Magic to fight, without any type of physical contact.

However, looking at the fight Mr White was having with Andras, he realized that they started right off the bat with some physical punches. He was anticipating some great magic spells, yet it seems like he was wrong.

"Yep, mages use their fist too even though it isn't very common," Ace explained when he heard Aiden's rumblings, "Using magic right off the bat is a good tactic if you know that you are stronger than your opponents. However, if you aren't too sure it is better to fists to test out the opponent."

"The stronger your opponent's physical body is, the more capable they are as Mages. However, doing this is very difficult as learning martial arts is one of the most difficult things in the world and many mages don't know how to fight in close combat. There are indeed some who know how to fight in close combat but they are very rare!"

"Hm," Aiden nodded. He knew of this too. After all, mages normally focus on improving their spells and making themselves stronger through that. If they were to suddenly focus their strengths on learning martial arts, they would certainly lose in every round and almost die when fighting other mages. However, even though Aiden knew this, he was confused about one thing.

"Why would Mr White fight back with a fist then? Is it to test the depth of the guy's strength again?" Aiden asked. He had seen Mr White test out the strength of Andras earlier on and even he was able to figure out the strength of Andras. He thought that would be enough so why would Mr White try to fight the guys with fists?

He could simply end the battle by just using magic when the person is trying to close in. So why would he waste his time by trying so hard to fight with his fists?

"Oh, yeah. I think the reason why he doing that is so he doesn't deplete his mana reserves early!" Ace said.

"Deplete his mana reserves?" Aiden couldn't help but mumble.

"Yep. He just used a water beam and even though a water beam is just one of the low-tier magic spells, it still cost a considerable amount of mana to use. By duelling with his foe in physical combat, he is able to stop and decrease the amount of magic consumption and by the time the duel is done, He would have already gotten back to his peak.

"True!" Aiden nodded. He couldn't help but be amazed by his friend's analytical ability. It was as if he knew everything about the battle. However, just as he was praising Ace's analytical ability, he suddenly heard something that made him almost puke out blood in anger.

"Anyway, Aiden, why are you asking such stupid questions? I thought you would have already known this. After all, your analytical ability was far above mine!"

Hearing this, Aiden nearly puked blood in anger. Hah, it isn't like I do not want to but I have no idea where to start from! Just as Aiden and Ace were talking he duo fighting above had already clashed multiple times.

From watching the fight alone, Aiden could tell that Mr White had a small advantage in strength over Andras. Their fight was insane and as ripples continued to spread from the sky downwards, the students became endangered. However, the principal did their best to save the students and prevent them from getting hurt.

All of a sudden a ripple far stronger than most of the previous on suddenly shot towards Ace and Aiden. Before It could land though, a barrier appeared around them saving them from the onslaught.

Turning their heads to see the person who stopped the attack, Aiden and Ace saw Mr Bai looking at them with a smile on their face. He walked towards Ace and parted his shoulders,

"Your analytical ability is good. it's no wonder Mr white chose you to be his disciple!"

"Em, it's nothing. I was just trying to explain something to my friend..." Ace smiled and said with an embarrassed expression on his face.

"No, the fact that you were able to see through all this shows that you are very good at what you know," Mr Bai said.

"Mr Bai, who is that man?" Ace suddenly asked. "For someone who is almost as strong as Mr White to appear in this city, his name must have been heard by you right?"

Mr Bai's expression turned strange when he heard Ace's question.

Seeing this, Ace seemed to have realised that he had asked the wrong question and had placed Me Bai in a spot. There was most likely something that they just weren't supposed to know. So bowing to Mr Bai, he apologised.

"Mr Bai please don't take what I said at heart. You don't have to answer me. Just take it as me rumbling my mouth."

"Sigh... It's not like I can't tell you but.... Hah, forget it. I will tell you anyway," Mr Bai sighed and said.

"Andras isn't who you think he is!" Mr Bai declared.

"Not who we think he is? Can you elaborate on that please?" Aiden asked.

"Unlike what you guys are thinking, Andras is actually someone from here. He was trained in this very school to be the principal in the futue!"

"Trained in this school to be the principal?" Aiden couldn't help but mutter in shock. In his previous world, there was nothing like superpowers so even though the principal in that world held some influence, it was only for pleasantries.

However, in this world, everything was different as the principal was as strong as the mayor. In a world where only strength really mattered, the principal could be said to be on equal standing to the mayor of the city or his standing might even surpass that of the mayor!
