Chapter Twenty

[A/N: Word Count: 620]

[May 17th, 40 BBY. 18 Years left until the start of the Clone Wars]

[A/N: It took me a dozen minutes to go back all the way to chapter 10 and count up the days passed all the way up to this chapter]

...

[Yaddle's POV]

Walking through the halls of the Jedi Temple you can see a small green creature with long brown hair.

The woman was known to be carrying and nice making many of the Jedi Padawan and Younglings like and admire her.

She has guided the younglings many times and this time would be no different.

She soon reached her location, Youngling Class 3.

As she stepped into the classroom the once loud classroom went silent upon her entrance.

She gazed over everyone in the room before stopping on a single individual, a young boy with short black hair and black eyes that appeared to contain no emotions and was like an endless void...

And I could feel the force radiating from him like a blazing sun!

Compared to the feeling I was getting from the younglings I felt as though I was looking at a monster even more horrifying than the Jedi Grandmaster, Yoda!

I could also feel that the force was drawn to him like a moth towards a flame!

I smiled and announced to the class to follow me to the training room.

Once we reached the training room I had everyone grab a helmet and training lightsaber before putting on the helmet and activating the lightsaber.

I looked over at the reactive training spheres and using the force the training spheres levitated from the table with a wave of my hand and flew over to each of the children before activating.

Over the course of an hour, I watched as many of the Younglings get shot by the training spheres with futile attempts to block the lasers.

I looked over towards the black-eyed young man and found that, although he couldn't block all of the lasers, was still blocking a few.

I smiled and guided the younglings.

[MC's POV]

Once class ended I took off the training helmet and deactivated the training lightsaber before placing them on the table.

I looked over to the teacher that taught our class today and smiled before leaving.

With the rest of the day free to do whatever I wish, so I decided to visit the Meditation Garden in the temple.

[A/N: Never knew this existed until I looked it up]

Situated on various levels of the Temple Ziggurat and within the four Council Spires, the meditation gardens were generally cool, sun-drenched chambers in which Jedi could meditate amongst the foliage and trickling streams. Filled with dense foliage and moist grottoes, benches lined dirt and stone paths that cut through the jungle-like chambers. In one of the gardens, a fish-filled pond connected to a sandy beach, while butterflies fluttered over the gently lapping waters.

On the rooftop of the Ziggurat were at least eight large gardens located in the architecture that jutted out from the pyramid of the Temple. Clerestories formed the ceilings of these gardens and access to the Ziggurat's broad rooftop plaza was gained through three broad doorways. In one of the gardens, a sandpit near a towering tree was filled with pink stones which were gently balanced upon each other, inducing a very calming atmosphere.

Upon stepping into the Gardens I felt a wonderful breeze and took in a deep breath before gently exhaling.

I walked over to the stream and sat down into a lotus position.

I felt relaxed and calm and without realizing it I began to enter a meditative state.
