Chapter Eight

Sigh...even if you show your strength before people they somehow still believe they can win.

Suddenly 3 wisps of shadows started streaming out of my ring and onto the ground.

Three puddles of darkness lay on the floor before suddenly enlarging into Shadow Knights in front of me.

The gang members could only look in fear as 7ft tall black humanoid creatures clad in black full plate armor while wielding swords and shields appeared in front of me.

I mentally commanded one of the shadow knights to block the door and prevent any of the gang members from escaping.

I then used a new trick.

I had the Shadow Knights absorb their Swords of Shadow into their bodies and change them to Shadow Clubs.

That's right, I found that upon absorbing their weapons they can change them into different weapons for them to use!

So I had the Shadow Knights switch to blunt weapons.

"Make them kneel and submit," I told the two Shadow Knights in front of me.

The Shadow Knights nodded and began to walk towards the scared Gang members.

I found that the Shadow Knights have the intelligence of a normal man which made it much easier to give them orders.

I watched as the Gang Members attempt to flee from the monstrous strength that the Shadow Knights held.

But it was like a Tiger chasing a chicken...they had no chance of escaping.

I watched as they attempted to fight against the Shadow Knights but it was futile, their strength could not match the Shadow Knights.

Before 2 minutes could even pass the gang members sat before me, bowing with their heads on the ground.

Behind them were the two Shadow Knights glaring at them with killing intent.

"Do you swear your loyalty to me?" I asked.

The gang members on the ground had only one option if they wanted to live past today.

"We swear!" they yelled.

"Good, do remember that there is no escape from me, and any attempt of betrayal will grant you pain far worse than death, understand?" I asked them.

They nodded and I said "Good, now time to meet your companions,"

The Shadow Knights were absorbed into my ring and once we stepped outside I could see the shock on John's face.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"H-how did you do it?" John asked.

"Do what?" I asked.

"How did you get them to submit?!" John asked.

I just smiled and stayed quiet.

"Who's the next nearest Gang?" I asked.

"Wolf Gang, 38 Members," John informed me.

I see...I now have around 84 subordinates in my...Gang.

I guess it's time to head over to the Wolf Gang.

I had the 84 Gang members follow me and we soon reached the hideout of the Wolf Gang.

We stood outside their hideout and demanded to see their leader.

Within a minute the leader, who was a large and harry man who called himself Wolf, stepped outside.

"What do you want?" he asked looking at the 85 of us.

"Join us, or die," I told him seriously.

"I am not talking to you brat, which of you is the leader?" he asked.

"I am," I told him seriously while he laughed.

"Enough jokes, who is the leader," he asked again.

I simply sighed before saying "Since you won't take me seriously it looks like we are going to do this the hard way..."

"Everyone stay right here, I will take care of them," I told my subordinates.

Suddenly four streams of black poured out from the ring on my hand onto the ground forming four puddles of darkness.

I now have four Shadow Knights under my command and in another hour I would have 5.

"Make them kneel, blunt force only,," I mentally commanded the Shadow Knights.

The four 7ft tall Shadow Knights nodded in confirmation before charging at the 30 men in front of them.

While the Shadow Knights charged the 84 Gang members that have sworn their loyalty to me can be seen shaking in fear.

The men shook from fear due to knowing how horrifying those Shadow Knights were while John and his Turtle Gang looked at me in fear.

They never knew that I could summon such horrifying creatures to fight for me.

I smiled and watched as the 30 men of the wolf gang screamed in horror as the Shadow Knights beat them with their large clubs.

Some tried to fight back but as I expected it was futile as their small knives had no effect against the Shadow Knights.

Before long 30 men sat before me on the ground bowing and swearing their loyalty.

Now my subordinate count went from 84 to 110 strong.

Now then, I have 7 Gangs remaining...
