Final Exams!

Time has passed, and now it has come to the final week of June. There in only one week left until the end-of-term test. The classmates who didn't do well on the midterm exam were more worried about the final exam. Your grade scored 4th out of 21 in the midterm exam, so you offered to help Ochaco, Tsu, and Hagakure with a few subjects they're having trouble with. 

"What, really? Well if it's just robots then it'll be a piece of cake!!" Ashido and Kaminari beamed at the same time. 

During lunch, Izuku and four of your other classmates were confronted by Neito Monoma and Itsuka Kendo from Class 1-B in the cafeteria. Monoma was only there to mock them, but Kendo knocked him out and was nice enough to tell them that the exercise test will be like the entrance exam. In other words, it will be a battle simulation exercise fighting against robots.

"You both must be happy because your Quirks are hard to adjust against human opponents." Said Shoji. 

"Yep! So with robots, we can win like that! This will be a walk in the park!!"

"Hold up, you guys!" You interrupted Ashido Kaminari's rejoice. "We can't be exactly sure that we're going to face off against robots in the exercise test!"

"What are you talking about, Yagi?" Sero asks.

"First of all, we've fought those robots before, meaning that it'll be too easy for us. Second, Kendo heard the info from an upperclassman. We don't know if that upperclassman is still attending this school or is in the hero course or not. It's likely that the final exams are different for each course. And third, from what we know about Mr. Aizawa, he's not going to make the exercise test simple for us. There's no way he'll throw the same thing at us twice after the USJ attack." You turned to Kaminari and Ashido. "Also, you two shouldn't get so excited. You need to adjust your fighting style and learn how to have have better control of your Quirks."

"She's right." Katsuki spoke. "You morons shouldn't be celebrating. Learn to control your Quirks first before you act all confident!"

Kaminari and Ashido were no longer excited. They didn't have a comeback because they know that you and Katsuki have a point. 

"Hey, Deku!" Katsuki glared at Izuku. "I dunno if you've come to understand a little how to use that Quirk of yours, but you're really trying my goddamn nerves, shitrag."

"Wait, is Bakugou talking about how Deku's moves looked a lot like his?" Ochaco questioned.

You nodded. "Yeah."

"Let me tell you right now, I don't want the same hollow-ass result as the damn sports festival!" The angry ash-blonde declared. "By the end of next term, we'll see by our grades just who the better man is... whether you like it or not!" He points a finger at Izuku. "I'll annihilate you, leave you in the dust with the gap between us and then I'll fucking murder you!" Katsuki shifted his glare to Todoroki angrily. "Todoroki...!! I'll murder you too, asshole!!"

You and your classmates watch your boyfriend storm out of the classroom. 

Kirishima scratched the back of his head. "...Man, that's some vintage Bakugou. How long's it been?"

"Hikari, you must really love Bakugou if you're able to put up with his bad attitude." Tsu spoke. 

"Katsuki can be rude and violent sometimes, but he's not a bad guy. I promise." You respond before you motioned for Hagakure and Ochaco to follow you. "Come on. Let's meet at my house to study."

The two girls followed you out of the classroom with Tsuyu following suit. The four of you walked to your house with Katsuki, who was not happy about it and was in a bad mood the whole way there. When you got to your house, you started to study for the final exam with Ochaco, Tsu and Hagakure. The three girls thanked you for your help since they didn't have any problems with most of the questions. 

And so came the day of the exercise test!!

You and your classmates were in your hero costumes, facing all eight of your teachers outside.

"Right, the exercise test will begin shortly." Mr.Aizawa spoke. "Obviously, you can fail this test, too. So if you want to head to the forset lodge, then we'd better not see any pitiful blunders from you."

"Why are all the teachers here?" You ask.

"I've no doubt you all learned what information you could about the test beforehand, so I think you already hold a vague notion of what you are going to do."

"Sure, just like the entrance exam it'll be like a musou game only with robots!!" Kaminari says confidently while doing a rock star pose.

"I can just see the fireworks! The curry! The dare sessions--!!" Ashido exclaimed as she pumps her fist in the air.

Suddenly, the animal principal of this school, Principal Nezu, pops out of Eraserhead's scarf.

"Sorry, I'm afraid not!!" The principal chimed in. "Due to various reasons, we're changing the contents of the test, starting today!"

Ashido and Kaminari still looked pumped, but judging by their silence and disappearing color, they were utterly disappointed. 

"Principal Nezu is here!?" Sero spoke in bewilderment. 

"What do you mean...?" Yaoyorozu wondered.

After climbing off of Mr. Aizawa,  the principal explains. "The tests now have a new focus. There will be Hero work, of course, but also teamwork and combat between actual people. So what does that mean for you? You students will be working together in pairs and your opponents will be one of our esteemed U.A. teachers! Isn't that fabulous?!"

You and all of your classmates gasped.

"We're... fighting the teachers?" Ochaco asked nervously. 

"Additionally, your teammates and your opponents have already been chosen." Eraserhead adds. "They were determined at my discretion based on various factors, including fighting style, grades, and interpersonal relationships. First, Yaoyorozu and Todoroki are a team. Against me. Then we have Midoriya paired with Yagi and Bakugou."

You, Katsuki and Izuku looked at eachother in shock. Despite feeling glad to be in the same team as those two, you had a bad feeling about this match up.

"And their opponent is..."

Your father then appears from above out of nowhere. 

"I am here to fight!" He declares.

"We're up against All Might?!" The three of you gasped in shock.

"You're going to have to work together, lady and gents, if you want to win."

Katsuki glared at Izuku and you immediately got between them to prevent any harm betweenthem. What was Mr.Aizawa thinking? Principal Nezu announced the teams and the teachers they'll be fighting in order.

1st Match: Cementoss vs. Rikido Sato & Eijiro Kirishima 

2nd Match: Ectoplasm vs. Tsuyu Asui & Fumikage Tokoyami 

3rd Match: Power Loader vs. Tenya Iida & Mashirao Ojiro 

4th Match: Eraserhead vs. Momo Yaoyorozu & Shoto Todoroki 

5th Match: Thirteen vs. Yuga Aoyama & Ochaco Uraraka 

6th Match: Principal Nezu vs. Mina Ashido & Denki Kaminari 

7th Match: Present Mic vs. Koji Koda & Kyoka Jiro 

8th Match: Snipe vs. Toru Hagakure & Mezo Shoji 

9th Match: ​​Midnight vs. Hanta Sero & Minoru Mineta 

10th Match: All Might vs. Izuku Midoriya, Hikari Yagi & Katsuki Bakugou 

"To complete the exam, you'll have 30 minutes." Principal Nezu says before showing you all a pair of handcuffs. "In order to win, your objective is to put these handcuffs on your teacher, or you can win if one of you manages to escape from the combat stage."

"So we've either got to capture the teacher or run away." Kaminari recapped. "It's basically like the combat training."

Ashido raised her hand. "Yeah, but is it really okay to just jet?"

The animal principal gives her a thumbs up. "Yup."

"It's going to be much different than the combat training you all went through earlier." Present Mic states. "After all, you're up against people way better than you!"

" "Better"? Really?" Jiro nonchalantly questions Present Mic. "Wait, aren't you just the announcer?"

"Hey, watch your mouth, girl! Have some respect!" He shouted.

"This time, your exam will be very similar to a real battle." Thirteen spoke. "As strange as it is, please think of us as villians."

"Assumin' you come across your enemy." Snipe chimed in. "If you think you can win against them, then fight. However..."

"...in instances where you're outmatched, it would be smarter to run away and find help." Aizawa intervenes. "Todoroki. Iida. Midoriya. I'm sure the three of you understand."

Why did Mr. Aizawa call out the three boys who were attacked by the Hero Killer? Was there more to the story about what happened in Hosu?

"So we fight to win... or run to win." You said out loud.

"That's right." Your dad replied. "It's a test of your decision-making skills. But with these rules, you're probably thinking your only real choice is to flee. That's why the support course made these super-clever accessories for us." All Might pulls out a large wristband made of metal. "Behold! Ultra-compressed weights!" Each of the teachers put on weights on their ankles and wrists. "These babies will add about half our body weight to our physiques. It's not much, but they will eat up our stamina and make it harder for us to move around." You dad grunts after he puts on his weights. "Oh, shoot... these are heavier than I thought. We had a contest to come up with these designs, and young Hatsume ended up winning it."

The girl from the Support Course who teamed up with Izuku during the sports festival? Good for her.

"You think we need a handicap to win against you?" Katsuki asked disgruntled. "Well think again."

All Might laughs in response before giving you a serious expression. "This'll be fun."

"Let's begin." Mr.Aizawa announced. "The teams will take the exercise test in the order you were called. We have a stage prepared for you. Sato, Kirishima. You're up."

"Yes, sir." They both said."

"Those waiting their turn to fight can either watch the exams or try to strategize together as a team. It's your choice. That's all."

The teachers walked away and you can't help but become timorous after being told what you are going to do for the exercise test.
