The Legendary Sensei

Ryuto transmigrated into the world of Naruto and found himself as not only a Chunin teacher at Konoha Ninja School but also a member of the Root organization under Danzo. He felt hopeless. However, at the brink of despair, "The Legendary Sensei System" activated! Now, by taking students and teaching, he could become stronger! Determined not to become a disposable pawn for Danzo, Ryuto dedicated himself to teaching and strengthening both his students and himself. [For the first time, your completed teaching was rated A. You will receive a reward: Mastery of the nature change of fire attribute chakra.] [Your teaching inspired your disciple to work hard, greatly improving their comprehensive strength. You are rewarded with: Sage Mode Body!] Under Ryuto's guidance, his students learned that the village’s enemies might not only be from other great villages but could also be within their own village. They realized that those who preach the Will of Fire may not necessarily act according to it. (This fanfic is based on another fanfic. I really liked the context so, I am rewriting and giving it my take. Many elements are similar but many are different. Thank you)

Chapter 1: Will of Fire? More like, Will of Deception!

"I never thought that after graduating from a teachers' college, I would end up becoming a teacher through transmigration instead," Honda Ryuto lamented after sorting through his memories.

He felt that he had an inextricable bond with the word "teacher."

In high school, he was one of the top students in the art class, so many classmates asked him for help with their studies, earning him the nickname " Ryuto The Tornado Teacher."

When applying for college, he slid all the way down to a teachers' university, choosing a strong teaching major on the advice of his family.

In college, he tutored his roommates, once again earning the nickname "Ryuto The Tornado Teacher ."

Unexpectedly, contrasting every one's expectations, when he graduated, Ryuto rebelled and became a civil servant instead of a teacher.

But, on his first day at work, just as he walked into the office he met a deadly accident; as a result, he was transported to another world, becoming a new teacher at a ninja school.

His current name was Yashiro Ryuto; his given name remained Ryuto, but his surname had changed.

"Sigh, this isn't a safe world. There are too many lunatics and paranoid psychopaths, and they're all very strong," Ryuto sighed inwardly.

He casually observed the office, which wasn't much different from the offices in his previous life, except for the sharp kunai casually placed on the desk, reminding him that this was no longer his peaceful homeland.

What troubled Ryuto even more was that he wasn't just a teacher; he was also a ninja in the Root!

His original owner of the body was an orphan raised by the Root. He was made a teacher at the ninja school under Danzo's orders to observe and record the students, looking for potential geniuses.

"Working under the Shadow of the Root is not good at all..."

As Ryuto pondered how to survive in this dangerous world, a mechanical voice suddenly echoed in his mind, and a transparent blue panel appeared before his eyes.

[Ding! The Legendary Sensei System has Activated. Congratulations, you have become a Sensei.]

[Giving lectures to students can earn rewards. The more outstanding the students, the higher the rewards.]

[You can mentor outstanding students one-on-one. As the disciple's strength grows, the Sensei earns rewards.]

[Note: Both parties must acknowledge the mentorship; it cannot be one-sided.]

Ryuto was stunned for a moment.

But, he quickly gathered himself and examined the blue panel which suddenly appeared.

His eyes lit up when he saw the contents.

There were only two options: Personal Template and Master-Disciple.

He clicked on the Personal Template.

[Name: Yashiro Ryuto]

[Age: 20]

[Chakra: 4300]

[Skills: Clone Technique, Fire Style: Great Fireball Technique, Fire Style: Phoenix Flower Jutsu, Body Flicker Technique, Leaf-Style Taijutsu]

[Evaluation: Elite among Chunin, but a slightly significant pawn in wartime]

Feeling a bit disheartened by the evaluation, Ryuto silently closed the personal panel and opened the Master-Disciple option, but it was empty as he had no disciples yet.

"So, is it my golden finger?" Ryuto quitioned glee avident in his voice. Now he has something that can actually protect him.

Ding~

As the school bell rang, Ryuto remembered he had a class to teach, so he gathered his things and headed to the classroom.

Despite being a new teacher, Ryuto had become a homeroom instructor due to the shortage of staff at the ninja school, in charge of a class of new students.

Glancing at the class roster, he recognized several familiar names, including Anko Mitarashi and the future "Gatekeepers of Konoha," Kotetsu Hagane and Izumo Kamizuki.

When he saw Shisui Uchiha's name, Ryuto's eyes lit up.

This guy was an extraordinary genius!

Since the system rewarded him for the growth of his disciples, he figured the more talented the students, the better.

Before entering the classroom, Ryuto adjusted his expression and walked in with a sunny smile.

The ninja school's classroom was designed peculiarly, perhaps to ensure students at the back could see clearly; the seats were arranged in ascending height.

Ryuto's arrival silenced the previously noisy classroom.

After all, they were five or six-year-old children, attending school for the first time, curious and respectful of ninja teachers.

Of course, there were exceptions. A purple-haired girl in the front row, with a ponytail, boldly said:

"Mister, you're really good-looking. Are you our instructor?"

Ryuto smiled and nodded, replying:

"That's right, I am your homeroom teacher."

"Hehe," the purple-haired girl immediately felt that the blonde male teacher was a good person.

Seeing their interaction, the other students relaxed a bit. Although it was their first day at school, they had heard relatives complain about strict teachers.

Ryuto quickly walked to the podium, wrote his full name on the blackboard with chalk, and formally introduced himself:

"My name is Yashiro Ryuto. From today, I am your Sensei. Please take care of me."

"Yay! Sensei, my name is Anko Mitarashi," the purple-haired girl was the first to respond.

Following Anko's lead, the others also introduced themselves, including Shisui.

Ryuto was slightly disappointed that his system didn't react; he had hoped to exploit a bug to make Shisui his disciple just by acknowledging him as a teacher, but it didn't work.

Not showing his inner disappointment, Ryuto quieted the class by raising his hand.

"Before I start the lecture, let me ask you a question: Do you know how Konoha was founded?"

The classroom fell silent again, with students exchanging confused looks, unsure how to answer.

Shisui, who had received some clan education, knew a bit but didn't like standing out unless called upon.

"Peoplebuilt it," Anko replied after some thought.

"Indeed, people built it, but do you know who exactly built Konoha and why?" Ryuto continued, not denying Anko's answer but building on it.

"Before the era of ninja villages, there was the constant war of the Warring clans period. Even children your age had to fight, and brutal wars could break out anytime..."

Speaking of this harsh history, Ryuto's voice turned somber, presenting the brutal reality of the Warring clans period to the students.

Perhaps due to the early maturity of ninja world children or the fact that they were in Konoha, many children felt the gravity of the situation, and the classroom atmosphere changed.

"At this time, two clans stepped forward: the Senju clan and the Uchiha clan," Ryuto's tone shifted from somber to passionate.

"I know, I know! The First Hokage Hashirama-sama was a Senju," a student eagerly responded.

Hearing everyone focus on the Senju without mentioning the Uchiha, Shisui felt a bit disappointed, not understanding why both founding clans didn't receive equal attention.

"To protect their clans and ensure future generations wouldn't have to fight, the two clans united to create Konoha, attracting more ninja clans and ending the Warring States period, giving us the current Konoha."

"Where the leaves dance, the fire burns. The fire's shadow will illuminate the village, allowing new leaves to sprout.

It is through the selfless sacrifices of our predecessors that we have our present, including this ninja school. This spirit of selfless dedication is the Will of Fire of Konoha!" Ryuto concluded with a solemn expression, seemingly still commemorating the ancestors.

He hoped Shisui would be interested in a teacher who understood the history of Konoha and the Will of Fire.

"Is that how Konoha was founded? I must pay respects to the Hokage Rock next time."

"I also want to become a ninja embodying the Will of Fire, protecting Konoha!"

The students, now imagining the bloody battles of their ancestors, were filled with enthusiasm, expressing their desire to emulate the predecessors.

Shisui's eyes also lit up, finding this teacher intriguing, and began to look forward to his life at the ninja school.

Initially, his clan had told him the school's teachings were redundant, and he had planned to graduate early to help the police force.

Now it seemed that wasn't entirely true.

Ryuto continued,

"So, do you know how many types of chakra natures there are?"

"Five: Water, Earth, Wind, Lightning, and Fire," a student from a ninja family quickly answered.

"Not quite right. There are seven chakra natures, including five basic nature transformations and two special nature transformations: Yin and Yang," Ryuto corrected with a smile.

This method of correcting answers left a deeper impression on the students.

Ryuto then began explaining the basics of chakra, occasionally telling jokes to keep the students engaged.

Time flew by, and four periods passed quickly.

When the dismissal bell rang, Ryuto stopped and smiled:

"Class dismissed. Tomorrow, we'll talk about chakra extraction!"

Ryuto straightforwardly announced the end of class and previewed the next lesson.

The students were momentarily stunned, thinking it wasn't long since the class started, but realized they had already heard the bell four times.

They hadn't noticed the passage of time because Ryuto's engaging teaching had kept them absorbed.

"Chakra extraction, I'm so excited for the next class!" Anko exclaimed, eagerly anticipating the next lesson.

Her family members were not ninjas, so she hadn't been exposed to this knowledge before.

"Classes are really fun. My cousin lied when he said school was tough. I'm going to tell him to spend money on snacks," Kotetsu Hagane said, feeling he had almost been deceived.

"Why don't you use it to blackmail him for more snacks?" suggested Izumo Kamizuki.

Kotetsu's eyes lit up with realisation, and he patted Izumo on the shoulder, praising:

"Great idea, bro! If it works, I'll share my snacks with you."

Shisui watched as Ryuto prepared to leave the classroom. After a moment's thought, he decided to follow him.

Hi guys. Hope you like the fan fic.
