Chapter 588: For a Root of Grass
Eric arrived in front of the group of guards like a flash of lightning which clearly surprised the ex-military trained man, who looked at him like he was a ghost.
By this time they had already understood that things wouldn't be as easy as they looked on the outside through their feelings and instinct of danger that they had earned by working in their line of work.
Still, they didn't believe that Eric a scrawny kid would actually be able to overpower and beat 6 of their own by himself.
No matter how agile this kid was, he wouldn't be much of a challenge for the 6 of them, as long as one of them managed to put his hands on Eric, then he was finished.
At least, he would be finished in their eyes and minds.
Unfortunately, the reality was beyond their beliefs, as upon reaching their spot, Eric didn't go for an attack on them, but actually fell down on the ground, as if protecting something with his own body.
