Worlds upon worlds scattered around the multi-dimensional of the omni-verse. It was so many that no beings were able to count their exact numbers. It was even far more than the number of stars within a single universe.
Pre-historic worlds, medieval worlds, modern society worlds, futuristic worlds, even post-apocalyptic worlds were included among them and there's still many more of world with various settings.
Most of them were formed naturally without anyone's interference. But there's still some worlds that were personally created, worlds that contained an Overseer within them.
These Overseers were all beings existed solely for the purpose of creating worlds and watched over them, they're deity but at the same time different than any normal deities within each world. As existences created by the will of one of the two Origins, their existences were a level higher than a deity albeit the majority of them did not possess high combat ability.
As such one of those countless Overseers had particularly possessed unique characteristic, despite the kind of existence she was, her personality did not match her other peers. Usually, Overseers would create a world to maintain the balance of Nebula Nexus, the outer realm of space of every worlds within the omni-verse in the case there's too much of worlds being destroyed or reaching the end of their lives.
And yet, this unique Overseer had never paid any attention this fact. Unlike the others, she created worlds not because of her duty and purpose for existing but because she merely enjoy life itself. She loved animals, plants, people and how they lived and grew alongside each others, one could say that this was her hobby or interest.
Her rebellious nature did not stop at simply changing the reason of doing her obligations, she also sneakily manifested herself inside her worlds, all in order to interact with her creations directly, because she loved them dearly despite some of them had their own flaws.
Unknown amount of time passed and before long, even several of her fellow Overseers started to develop familiarity with her. They began to act more like 'a person' rather than mere robotic beings that only knew how to fulfill orders and duty.
These people eventually became friends with her. They talked, played, and even argued against each others just like how a normal friendship was.
"I know! Why don't we give ourselves a name just like the people inside our worlds did?"
She said during a time they gathered together for the nth time.
"Name huh? I guess that ain't bad but what kind of name should we gave to ourselves?" One of them pondered.
"Well, since we're going to name ourselves why don't we think of it together? I propose to give 072 a name first!" Another said.
"Sounds good, she's kinda like the perpetrator of how we gathered here anyway." The other nodded.
"Un, then how about 'Eisha'? It meant 'rebellious one' in our language. It sounds cute and similar to a girl's name from the lower worlds." One of them proposed.
"I concur."
"No objections there."
"Fine by me."
"Why not?"
"Sure."
"Agreed!"
"You all decided without asking my opinions!? We're talking about my name right!?"
And that's how the rebellious Overseer came to be known as Eisha, the rebellious one. Her name became her most important treasure, a gift from her friends bestowed upon her.
Not too long after, their group's unique dispositions eventually reached the ear of the Chief Overseer himself. Lot of the Overseers were complaining how they lacked the awareness as an Overseer to their leader but after seeing the group with his own eyes,
"Let them be."
He dismissed all of them and pretended to not see anything. Because of this the others could only swallow their complains and continued doing their duty once again just like a mechanical doll.
Eisha was greatly relieved of this fact as she secretly panicked when the Chief Overseer that's known as the representation of the will of the Origin, their creator suddenly came to their place out of nowhere.
Thanks to this, her daily lives continued day by day, creating worlds, interacting with the people inside, gathering between her fellow friends to grieving together when one of their worlds reached the end of its life.
....These days continued until 'that man' appeared.
His appearance had never been expected by all of them including the Chief Overseer who should had possessed tremendous knowledge from the Origin itself. Perhaps not even 'It' could prophesied his emergence inside their exclusive special realm.
He was chased by everyone of them but not a single time they managed to successfully subdue him. He would always hide within some of their worlds, growing his power while also destroying the lives inside without sentiment.
In just a short time his power grew in an unimaginable rate, outclassing even the strongest being in each worlds, removing them from barring his path to destruction.
He killed people with maniacal laughs and face as if the more they suffered, the happier he became. He even justified his actions as the justice of the gods, a divine punishment for mortals who went against the natural order by defying gods.
The Chief Overseer spared no effort to trace the origin of the mysterious man in black and found that he came from the so distant future, from a world he created himself. This newfound fact greatly shocked him and he thought this was his responsibility to deal with a person came from the world he created not long in the future.
Even so, he was too late as the man had unknowingly reached his hands on the other Origin, an equal force as the Origin they knew. But despite their similar disposition, each of them possessed an exact opposite nature. If one of them was the beginning of everything, the other was the ultimate end of everything, the Alpha and Omega.
The other Origin, Omega was a very sensitive force due to its unstable and chaotic nature that's why not a single one of the Overseer bothered with it. It functioned as the force to keep the balance of the omni-verse as the decomposer side, every worlds after they died or destroyed by the chaotic force 'on a whim' would be decomposed by it and drained of their impurities before their remnants were then absorbed by the Alpha force as an energy to create new lives and worlds.
And then that extremely dangerous nature force was touched by a wicked existence, something that must not happened.
The fortunate side was the man could not fully assimilate with the omega force, preventing everything from total extinction. Even so, he had gained the seed of ultimate destruction, the thing that could potentially annihilate any beings. By this time not even the Chief Overseer could do anything against him and he was forced to pull back to form a plan. The evil man proceeded to destroy numerous worlds, enjoying every one of them decayed and shattered into pieces. The other Overseers decided to retreat and hide, letting the villain ran free on his rampage.
Eisha and her friends refused to abandon their worlds, guiding the people inside and helping them fight against the villainous man in black. Unfortunately their sides lacked too much strength to repel the fearsome power the enemy had possessed by now.
In a short period, life by life, land by land, world by world were getting destroyed without mercy and they're powerless to stop it. This continued until one of them attacked the enemy and was killed like an elephant squashing an ant.
When one of them died, the other was angered and lashed at the hateful enemy as well, repeating the cycle of death that would leave Eisha as the single survivor.
She watched her beloved worlds and friends fell right in front of her eyes and she couldn't do anything about it. Eisha was the last remaining survivor between her friends as she stood with trembling legs and teary eyes to protect her last remaining world till the end.
The moment she feared of had finally arrived as she saw the man turned his eyes on her and then.....
....
"!!"
Eisha woke up and raised her body agitatedly. She was sweating hard while her breathe turning ragged.
"A...dream?"
She looked around her surroundings and found herself inside the same obsolete white room filled with simple furniture like a bed room.
It's been a long time since she had those dreams. Much before, she would suffer from the nightmarish dreams almost every time she slept. It was only recently she never had those dreams anymore.
'So why am I dreaming about it again?'
She asked with confused face. She couldn't help but sense there's something wrong happening. She had a very ominous and bad feeling like the thing she hoped the least was becoming reality.
'But it couldn't be....'
The beautiful goddess tried to deny her feelings only to realize its better if she checked it out herself to confirm her suspicion.
"!!!!!?"
The moment she tried to feel a certain boy's life signature her face became so shocked and pale.
It was because the boy's life signature was decreasing in high pace. But the main reason of her face losing color was because she detected the cause of it.
"Impossible.... how could he escape from there...? Why!?" She became very frustrated and yelled loudly to no one.
"...Could it be he's finally became 'complete'? That's absurd, we should have at least twenty more years!!"
Her thought and speculation was turning worse and worse the more she analyzed the situations. She just couldn't comprehend what was happening.
"...No, in any case I have to go there first.."
She bit her lip tightly, trying to calm herself down. Taking a deep breath she rushed to exit her place with serious face.
'Hang in there Haruto-kun...'
As some you may already realized, this novel was based on a 'What If' of Dragon Ball story.
I tried to keep the source plot as faithful as possible while slipping my own original plot at the same time. I have considered adding the non-canon elements of the series but still being considered as official, not fan-created.
