Epilogue (Vol.4)

*Bang!* *Bang!*

Sounds of fierce battle echoed through a large cave like hall. There's sparks from metals clashing with each other as well as explosions and shockwaves from magic spells or ki attacks.

"Fuck, these damn spiders so damn tough!"

A warrior carrying a large axe cursed loudly. He was facing against a big spider with size as big as a car. His attacks could not pierce through its durable skin and his weapon kept getting repelled.

"Hey Fizz, don't stray from your position you bastard! All vanguards pull back! Magicians, cast your strongest firepower spells! We need to take care of the mobs first before fighting the boss!"

A leader like man yelled at the axe warrior while also gave commands go the other member of his party. He's using a very large shield and tanked every attacks coming to aim at the rearguards.

Countless spider webs spread through the large chamber, dripping green liquid that could melt a rock in an instant due to its poison.

The giant spiders were spawned by a single extremely big spider, it was several times larger compared to the others, a Dark Spider Queen.

Dark Spider Queen was an intermediate General rank monster, its power was comparable to Ifrit in terms of pure strength only.

Using only its legs, it already severely injured some of the raid group, rendering them incapable of fighting anymore.

*Boom!* *Boom!* *Boom!*

A shower of fireballs and spears dropped to the spider spawns. Besides that, the vanguards were also lending a hand by firing energy attacks. They managed to kill a dozen of the spawns but the spider queen was left uninjured.

"Shit! It's not working at all!"

"W-What should we do!?"

"Damn it, If I know things would gone this way I wouldn't participate in this god damn raid...GUAAGHH!"

"Daz! You asshole!! ...Agh!!"

The group of adventurers were getting more and more distressed. More people were injured or straightly killed.

From far behind the battle zone, a certain group was watching the fight silently. One of them, a black haired boy spoke after seeing the raid party was close to annihilated.

"Hmm, I guess that's about it, who wants to go?"

"I'll go."

"Me too!"

A young woman with dark brow hair stepped forward and drew the crimson katana on her waist. Next to her, a fox girl with green hair stood with both hands covered in rocky white tiger claws.

"Sure, go get 'em." The boy, Haruto smiled.

"Good luck Rikka-chan, Fia-chan." Kaori cheered.

"I had my turn just now so you two can have yours." Selianna said.

"Make sure to wreck these creepy spiders into pieces!" Asami exclaimed. She was disgusted seeing so many gigantic spiders.

""Yeah!""

The two girls nodded and charged intensely. They split to left and right, slashing and killing spiders on their way in a single hit.

"Oi oi, the spiders were getting killed!"

"W-Who are they, when did they come here?"

"Holy shit, those two were crazily strong!"

The group of adventurers became rowdy, they saw the monsters ahead of them decreasing in great speed. Although they were spawns from the spider queen but they're still a High rank monsters and yet the girls effortlessly dealt with them like killing ants.

"Tiger Slash - Kagutsuchi!"

*Slash!* *Slash!* *Slash!*

Numerous energy blades were fired from Fia's white claws, it formed a net of beam slashes, cutting more than a dozen of spider spawns in the blink of an eye.

"ROAARRR!!!"

The spider queen roared angrily, it saw its children slaughtered by unknown intruders. It slam its front legs, causing an earthquake to the entire room. From its mouth, it fired green spider webs, trying to trap both Rikka and Fia.

But both of them easily avoided those by stepping through the air. Their boots were different than before, a rubber-like blue boots embedded with some kind of magic stones. They're glowing subtly while the two girls were maneuvering in the air.

Soon enough, Fia approached the spider queen from above, delivering a powerful blow by slamming both of her claws directly on its top.

The moment the spider queen wailed in pain, another shadow rolled downwards from above. The shadow creeped into its head after having its attention drawn by Fia's attack.

"Haaa!"

*SLASH!*

The One-Cut Killer Murasame cut through its durable skin without getting hindered. In just a mere second, the spider queen's head was severed, flinging in the air with expression full of disbelief and shock on its widened eyes.

The lifeless body of the monster dropped to the ground, leaving a bright magic stone on the severed neck. Rikka and Fia was not interested in the stone and went back to Haruto's side without even casting a single glance on the dazed adventurers

The adventurers only regained their senses after Haruto and the others had left, they quickly made an uproar, wondering who was the identity of that group of people.

"Alright, with this all of us were finally a high ranking adventurers." Haruto smiled seeing the mixture of blue and red cards the girls took out.

"So with this we can create a Clan of our own right?" Asami asked.

"Yes, but what most important was that we don't need to sneak into Tartarus secretly anymore." Rikka smiled wryly.

"Umu, we don't have to avoid meeting other people inside there any longer."

Selianna nodded. After the tournament was finished, she immediately applied to become an adventurer too. Even though they hadn't officially report to the emperor regarding their task, it was not a problem anymore as they had fulfilled the objective.

"Okay, now that we're done, let's go back to the southern continent. we can pay a visit to Fia's family too on the way to the capital."

Haruto pat the fox girl's head. He still remembered Fia never asked him to bring her to her home even though he knew she missed her family. At the same time, he also wanted to look at his "disciple's" progress, Fia's younger brother.

"...Thank you, Haruto-nii." Fia smiled softly with moved eyes. He shrugged her off saying it was nothing before leaving the place together.

A little more than two weeks had passed after the tournament. The commotions caused by the finals were mostly subsided by now, at least for Haruto's case. But Natasha were highly talked among the people after she showed her Apotheosis.

The people were very shocked to know there's a remnant from the ancient divine races. Now she was searched by various people from every countries but failed to find her becauze she mysteriously disappeared.

Haruto knew she's in the western continent to hide herself, that's why he didn't feel surprise to know Natasha had disappeared. Her ability in suppressing her presence was extraordinary too as not even he could sense her no matter how hard and long he focused on searching her energy signatures.

For Haruto's group, they decided to spend some time in the eastern continent, travelling around the cities and lands. It was their first time coming here after all so they wanted to stroll around before going back. In addition, they also wanted to increase their adventurer's rank.

Haruto's rank-up was still on pending, it wasn't simple to increase one's rank to silver as any adventurer starting from that level would also gained a status comparable to nobles. So for the time being his card was still red until he received further notification from the guild.

A few days later.

Haruto and the others were once again sailing in the middle of the sea after they boarded the ship yesterday. It was more quieter than before so there's only a few people aside from their group.

All of them were currently staying in the front deck, chatting and gazing at the ocean scenery with joyful faces. Occasionally, dolphins would appear from the sea while cranes were flying around in the sky nearby. It was a very peaceful time.

"It would be great if everyday was like this isn't it?" Rikka smiled next to Haruto.

"Yeah, it sure be." He nodded with smiling face.

"Mou~ you two are flirting alone again! I can't accept this... Ei!" Kaori pouted and pushed herself on Haruto's other side.

"Whoa there, you'll make us fall you know." Haruto caught her body, stumbling a bit.

"Oh my dear younger brother, you think you can ignore your sister after having two flowers on both of your hands?"

Asami hugged him from behind and soon the other girls followed after her too and stuck close to him. They then laughed happily together, enjoying themselves.

'If my self from months ago saw the current me, I wonder what he'll say?'

Haruto smiled wryly thinking about his average daily life before he was reincarnated. There's no way the him at that time would expect he's enjoying his time surrounded by great beauties on his side. Traveling together and fought together side by side, it felt nice and fulfilling to him.

'If everyday was a happy time like this huh?'

He once again thought how great it would be if things happened just like what Rikka said. Although right now was not possible but he believed in the future, he would have a lot of such time. That's why as for now, he should just enjoy this moments with all he could.

....At least it should have been.

"Huh?"

Suddenly, Haruto felt a strange feeling. It was coming out of nowhere like a rain in the middle of a sunny day.

*Thump* *Thump*

Even his heartbeat was starting to beat faster and faster. He didn't know what was happening and what was the strange feeling he currently felt was. It was very suffocating and his mind was ringing alarm bells more loudly than ever.

"Haru-kun?"

"Haruto-kun? You looked pale, what's wrong?"

"...."

The girls noticed the abnormality on his condition and became perplexed. Haruto was sweating hard with eyes opened wide, looking like he was in a daze.

The boy then stutteringly tilted his head upwards, facing against the sky above. The girls followed after his sight and observe the sky above them too.

It was unknown since when the sky became cloudy and dark. The wind flow around them was completely stagnant as if time had stopped moving. When they saw their vicinity, they also notice that the cranes and dolphins had long disappeared, running away from their place.

*Rumble* *Rumble*

The dark cloudy sky began to made rumbling thunders, it was getting darker as numerous lightnings were shot from the dark clouds. The whole sea was becoming chaotic like in the middle of a great storm.

For Haruto, he was not paying attention to all of that. His current mind was focused on only one thing, the feeling of someone or something was coming on his direction, someone extremely dangerous, far more dangerous than any other being he ever face.

*CRASH!!!*

And then just like what he thought, a great thunder bolt struck the sea right ahead of them. The dark cloud above began swirling violently resembling a tornado as it descent from the sky. They could faintly see a silhouette of a person inside the vortex of dark cloud.

The vortex dispersed right after it stopped a few distance in front of them. The full figure of the person behind the swirling dark cloud was revealed and it was someone Haruto was greatly recognized.

"Goku..Black!"

Eisha still didn't know her worst nightmare have actually happened.
