Chapter 37: Concert Thrills
Aurelie stood in shock.
“Brian!” she exclaimed.
Brian smiled. “Yeah, what are the chances of us being at the same concert?”
Aurelie couldn’t help but notice Brian’s black eye. It was quite the ‘shiner,’ as Braxton put it.
“Oh, Brian…” Aurelie cringed slightly.
The fellow rider frowned. “Yeah, your darling boyfriend gave me quite the punch. Where did you go anyway? Why did you just leave me there?”
Aurelie raised her eyebrows, “Brian…you grabbed my arm. You got me to come to a pub and lied about inviting someone else. You told me my boyfriend was horrible and I should go with you.”
“He punched me,” Brian said angrily.
“You grabbed me, and walked in on me changing!” Aurelie snapped back.
Brian rolled his eyes and stepped forward just as Ross came back to the door.
“Aurelie?” His eyes fell on Brian. “Come with me please.”
Aurelie went to follow Ross, but Brian grabbed her arm.
“We aren’t done, Aurelie Hawkins,” he said dangerously.
