Chapter 6-Academy

"Young Master, wake up."

Dwight, who was sleeping, suddenly heard someone calling him. He opened his eyes and saw Tessa looking at him angrily.

He ignored her as he stretched his hands and yawned because he still felt sleepy, so he closed his eyes again.

"Young Master, please wake up. Your father calls for you."

Dwight, who wanted to sleep again, opened his eyes and sat on the bed.

He looked at her and said, "Why?"

Tessa was angry that Dwight ignored her, but she was still mesmerized by his appearance because he was still handsome even though he had just woken up.

She tried to remain calm even though it was hard not to be enchanted by his looks and replied, "I don't know, but he commanded me to bring you to his room."

Dwight was confused about why his father was calling for him because his father would just let him do whatever he wanted and never disturb his sleep.

He stood up, as he was sure that there must be important things he wanted to say to him.

David looked at the old man sitting in the chair and said, "Are you sure you can handle him? He is spoiled, and I also don't want to make it hard for him, but it is for his own sake."

He sighed as he didn't know how to convince his son to go to school because he was now 16 and eligible to enter the best academy in the world.

This academy is called "World's Academy," and it was created and founded by many strong figures throughout the world to train the young generations.

When you enter the academy, your status becomes useless, and most of its students come from prominent and rich families.

There are some sons and daughters of commoners, but they had talent and were recommended by others.

Many dream of entering the academy because not everyone can be easily enrolled there as it needs an invitation and recommendations from the higher-ups of the academy.

Of course, with David's status, he can easily enroll his son in the academy, but his problem right now is how he can make him agree.

He already contacted one of the members of the academy council to enroll his son.

He plans to do it by force if necessary because he is worried about his future if this continues.

He just let him do whatever he wanted, but now that he is already 16 years old, he needs to be mature and plan for his future.

The old man smiled and replied, "Don't worry, Mr. David. The academy is the best place to discipline students and for him to interact with youngsters of his age."

He answered respectfully as his status was below David's, but he still had his pride in representing the academy.

**"Knock knock!"**

Suddenly David heard a knock and said, "Come in."

**Clank!**

The door opened, and he saw Dwight enter the room with a bored face, and behind him was Tessa.

In Dwight's hand, a bird was sleeping, but no one cared about it.

"Why did you call me, Father?" Dwight asked.

David smiled and replied, "Dear son, since you are now 16, you are eligible to be enrolled in the World's Academy."

"I hope that you will not refuse this time as it is my only request to you."

Dwight was stunned, but he saw how his father was worried about him and cared for him.

He wanted to just laze around, but he didn't want to see his father disappointed.

He could see the color of everyone's heart, and he could see that his father genuinely wanted Dwight to be better.

Dwight looked at the old man who was hiding his strong aura but turned his eyes back toward his father and replied,

"Okay."

David was stunned, and even Tessa didn't expect him to agree so easily.

"You agree?"

David looked at his son again and felt that he must be possessed to agree with him so easily.

Originally, he would refuse and say that he only wanted to sleep all day.

Dwight saw how they looked at him weirdly, so he shrugged and replied, "Of course, but I will bring Tessa with me."

David was happy that he finally saw motivation in his son, so he smiled and replied, "Of course, she is your maid and your only close friend."

He looked at Tessa and said, "Take care of my son."

Tessa bowed and replied, "Yes, Clan Leader. It is my job."

David was satisfied and immediately waved his hand, and many bags and things appeared in front of Dwight.

"I already prepared all the things you need, and you will be leaving today."

Dwight was stunned as he didn't expect that his father would be this prepared as if he was afraid of him changing his mind.

"Hey, why the rush? It's not like I would change my mind easily."

David ignored him and immediately introduced the old man to him.

"By the way, this is Professor Donald of the Mage Department, and he will be the one to accompany you to the academy."

"Take care and don't worry as I have already told your mother and siblings."

Dwight was stunned and wanted to say something, but he suddenly felt the surroundings change and he appeared inside a carriage.

Two golden horses were pulling the carriage, and near him was Tessa, who had a confused look, and the old man, who was smiling at him.

He was still hugging the sleeping baby phoenix, and it didn't even wake up when they were teleported.

Dwight didn't expect that his father would forcefully teleport him out of the Starlight Clan.

"Young Master Dwight, it will take us 3 hours to reach the Academy, so just bear with it."

Dwight felt bored and wanted to sleep again, so he nodded and replied, "Just wake me up when we reach the academy."

Donald nodded as he looked at Tessa, who only shook her head and replied, "He is lazy as ever."

"What? You said that his son left the Starlight Clan and is now heading towards the World's Academy?"

In a dark room, a man sitting in a chair had his face hidden in the darkness.

"Yes, my spies learned that he is now heading towards the academy, and he is accompanied by an 8-star mage."

A man wearing black clothes replied and looked at the man respectfully.

"Kekeke, the lazy son has finally left his home. Send Dark Crow to abduct him as he is David's weakness."

"I am sure that Dark Crow can easily handle an 8-star mage."

The man in black nodded and immediately disappeared from the place.

The man sitting in the chair laughed loudly after the black-clothed man left.

"Hahaha, I will take revenge against you, bastard David, for shaming me 5 years ago and cutting my left arm."

"I'm sure that your weak son is your weakness, and I will make you suffer by torturing your beloved son."

He wanted to take revenge against David, but he didn't have a chance to do it to his other sons and only daughter because they were already strong and had many organizations connected with them.

On the other hand, Dwight didn't have any, and he was too weak to defend himself.

In the carriage, while Dwight was sleeping, Donald, who was guarding Dwight, and Tessa, who was fixing Dwight's things, suddenly fell asleep.

The horses also went unconscious, and Dwight, who was sleeping peacefully, woke up because of the disturbance.

He put down the sleeping Nirvana and checked Tessa and Donald.

He saw that they were sleeping because there was a sleeping poison mixed in the air.

Even the deadliest poison was nothing to him, so he immediately went out of the carriage and saw a man wearing a black mask with the attire of an assassin looking at him with astonishment.

"As expected of David, he must have left a treasure for his son."

He said as he didn't expect Dwight to be unaffected.

Even so, he was smiling as Dwight was like a chopping board in front of him.

Dwight looked at the man in front of him and saw his black aura.

Just from his aura, this man had already killed thousands of people, but it was nothing to Dwight as he had already killed billions of people before and even destroyed galaxies.
