Chapter 178

I land on the ground after my attack is done, and I click my tongue when I see him survive. The Titan looks at me in shock and anger.

"How? How are you doing that?! Answer me, mortal!"

What the hell is he talking about? Doesn't he see my attack?

'That is not what he is talking about. That thing wants to use Time to trap you. Sadly for him, I am here.'

Time, huh? I thought Cronos was the Titan of Time.

'He brings something that lets him control time. If it is the Titan himself, I cannot override his control over time.'

That can only mean two things. The first one is that he steals the item from Chronos, or Chronos cannot join the blatant attack but is willing to help Kronos.

I look at the Titan with a smirk and say.

"It is for me to know and for you never to find out."

"Foolish mortals!"

Kronos roars and swings his sickle. I swing my sword and meet his attack head-on. The two of us exchanged blow after blow. After three minutes of exchanging blows, I noticed something. He is powerful but lacks technique. Gawain and I have the technique but cannot beat his raw strength.

As the two of us lock each other's weapons, I open my mouth and scream.

"Sky Dragon's Roar!"

I release an enchanted roar and push the Titan away. It is far enough for me to exploit the opening and stab him right in the chest. However, instead of dying, he grunts and disappears into a mote of light.

He appears a hundred meters away to my left, and I can see his wound disappear in a few seconds.

"How dare a mortal like you to injure me?!"

"Mortal this. Mortal that. Shut your mouth and fight."

The Titan looks at me in anger and makes his sickle disappear. This time, he takes out his scythe and prepares to swing it. I frown at the weapon because my entire instinct tells me that the weapon is on another level.

"Be honored, mortal. I only use this weapon on my Sons."

I grunt and take out another card from the Gate of Babylon. I removed the Gawain Class Card and put the card in the Gate of Babylon.

"Install! Lancer!"

My body changes, and I can feel new power rushing through it. I put that feeling into place for now and combined all my energy into one: chakra, natural energy, sky dragon slayer energy, and the new energy from installing this card.

A spear appears in my hand, and I can feel a connection between it and this world. The spear connects itself to the Heaven of this world and absorbs a lot of Holy Energy. Ah, it is holy energy that I feel.

I look at the Titan and raise my spear.

"Removing dual restraints on the sacred lance."

My voice rises up as I release the name of the Noble Phantasm.

"Begin countdown. Longinus Count Zero!"

I point my spear at the Titan and roar.

"Let a miracle light my way!"

The Titan swings his scythe at the same time as I thrust my spear.

"Die, mortal!"

The two attacks meet with each other and create a massive explosion. My spear shakes at the beam of purple light coming from the scythe. I grunt and keep pushing all the energy inside of me to fight the attack.

Golden light engulfs my spear and slowly pushes the energy, but even with that; I cannot defeat the attack.

It changes when a blue beam coming from the ground hits Kronos in the chest. The King of Titan gets thrown away from the blast, and as I look to the side, I can see Yasaka release the attack in her true form.

I give her a nod and fly to the sky. I gather more power into the spear and say.

"O Sacred Lance! Pierce through evil!"

The sky turns gold, and I throw the spear at the King of Titan on the ground. A massive drill-like energy descends to the ground, and I can see the King of Titan release a roar before releasing a massive energy to fight the attack.

After a few seconds, the dust disappears, and I can see the King of Titan still surviving, but I can see a hole in his left shoulder. How powerful are the Titans? That attack should have the same power as Rhongomyniad.

Kronos looks at me with anger and respect. However, confusion is the biggest one.

"How? Longinus is supposedly in China at the moment."

Before I can say something, something lands next to him, and after a few seconds, I can see they are the other Titans. I look to the sky and see the Big Three of Shinto Faction floating in the air. They are injured but alive. I can see deep injury on each of them. Hell, Susanoo's left arm is about to fall off from his shoulder.

The Titans, on the other hand… one of them loses their arms, and another one is more of a burned corpse instead of a living being. Note to self: don't mess up with Gods that still have a lot of worshippers. They are very powerful.

Even Titans cannot fight them head-on.

"Tch. We failed."

He takes out something and crushes it. 

"You will not leave this place alive!"

Amaterasu roars in anger as I feel the heat coming from my back. The night changes into the afternoon as a miniature sun appears above Amaterasu. Yasaka grabbed me with one of her tails just in time as the sun attack obliterated the area where I once stood.

After a few seconds, the only thing left is a giant crater that is twenty meters deep, forty meters wide, and full of lava. However, there is no sight of the Titans. They either manage to get away or die and turn into ashes.

By the look of Amaterasu, it is the first one instead of the second one. I look at Yasaka and say,

"What will happen now?"

"I don't know Ryan. However, I know there will be bad blood between Shinto and Youkai against the Greek Pantheon."
