Yasaka looks at the two Satans in front of her with a hint of nervousness.

"We have done some investigation about this accident, Lady Yasaka."

"Oh? Do you find anything?"

Ajuka puts a small metal piece on the table and says.

"We found this. Can you tell me what kind of metal this is, Lady Yasaka?"

She frowns at the metal and examines it carefully. After a few seconds, she says.

"I don't know." And she speaks the truth. "The metal feels cold with a hint of Death. I don't think it is a poison. It is more like energy."

After saying that, Yasaka put it down and thought. She knows her people will use poison to kill Issei, not something with Death Energy in it.

"I see. We also come to the same conclusion. What about the metal? Do you know anything about it?"

"It is not a metal that I know of. Its pattern is foreign to me. The nature behind the metal is also something that I have never seen before."

"I see. What a shame. Thank you for your cooperation, Lady Yasaka. We will send people to restore the area around."

"You don't need to do that, you know? We can fix the area ourselves."

Yasaka nods her head and says.

"Very well."

Yasaka smiles and nods her head.

"Very well. Make sure to tell me if you manage to find the culprit behind this."

"Of course."

While Yasaka is glad that the two Satans leave her palace, Sirzechs and Ajuka have a private conversation inside their heads.

"So?" Sirzechs starts. "Is she lying?"

"No. She truly doesn't know what kind of metal it is and how it arrived here. However, I have a feeling she knows something that she does not want to tell us. She might be suspecting something or someone, but she hesitates to tell us."

"Truly? I wonder why she doesn't want to tell us."

"Maybe it was her fellow Youkai."

"I see. If that truly is, there is a chance of us suspecting her, huh?"

"That is right."

Sirzechs nods his head. He understands the reason why she doesn't want to say it. However, he was also annoyed that he was not able to get a lead in this investigation. His sister is the one who gets hurt, and as a certified Sis-con, he will hunt down anyone who dares to hurt his sister.

That is also the reason why he arrived in his partial True Form. If Ryan does not stop after he interferes with the fight, he doesn't know if he can hold himself back from killing the young man. He doesn't care about the consequences at that moment.

"Do you have any lead, Ajuka?"

"No. However, Falbium should know where this metal is coming from."

"Then which people sent the hitman here?"

"We don't know, my lady. However, we managed to find the source of that energy."

Yasaka's eyes light up because she just remembers that Haruka, the Mouse Youkai, was the priestess of Lady Izanami before becoming the captain of the Ninja Squad. She knows a lot about Death Energy because she works in Yomi and has worked for King Yama for a while.

"Oh? Tell me."

"I only saw it five times when I was working with King Yama, but I still remember it clearly. That energy is coming from Xibalba."

"The underworld of Maya Pantheon, right?"

Xibalba is the name of the underworld of the Maya Pantheon before they get wiped out because of a civil war between gods and replaced by the Aztec Pantheon. While the underworld changes into Mictlan by the Aztec Gods, the Primordial Gods around the world forbid the change of the name because it can release the horror stored inside Xibalba if the name changes.

Only Aztec Gods call that place Mictlan, while the rest of the world still calls it Xibalba. They don't want to see what kind of horror that even the Primordial Gods don't want to fight.

"That is right, my lady."

"Does that mean it is someone from the Aztec Pantheon? No. There is no way. As far as I know, their faction never once gets Boosted Gear, nor do they have any grudge against any Boosted Gear user."

"However, they do produce good assassins."

"That is true."

The soldiers of Tezcatlipoca are known for their assassination technique and how good they are as hitmen.

Yasaka shakes her head and says.

"Make sure to investigate this mess. Also, accelerate the poison. Issei is more of a dragon than a human because of his transformation from Juggernaut Drive. Because they want to make sure Issei is still useful to Rias Gremory, the two Satans make sure to get as many dragon elements from Ddraig as possible. He cannot use boosted gear ability, but he will grow at the speed of a dragon."

"And because of his change into a dragon, he is even more vulnerable against Anti-Dragon poison."

"That's right. However, make sure to use something from outside of Japan. We don't want them to know of our involvement."

"We already know that, my lady. We gather foreign ingredients that have a slight anti-dragon ingredient and combine them together."

"Good. You can go now. I need to see Ryan now."

"Of course."
