After about two hours, Long Xia woke up to an empty space beside her. She wore her heels and outercoat and left the lounge only to be welcomed with an empty office. 'Where is he?' she soliloquized as she headed towards the sofa. Something bright on his desk caught her eye and she turned to see a yellow sticky note with his neat handwriting on it. She read it. 'Hey, love. I'm attending a three-hour meeting so you can choose to head home first or wait for me so that we can go together. Either way notify me when you read this note. From your loving husband❤️.' She took out her phone and sent him a message informing him that she would be waiting for him in his office. Almost a second later, a reply from him came. 'Okay.' As she sat there, phone in hand, she started contemplating of what had happened since she got married. She was able to become the wife of the infamous business tycoon and underworld boss. After picking his documents and MacBook, the two made their way to the elevator only to be stopped by Tang Linxu. "Haoran! I have been waiting for you for the past five hours. I wanted to grab lunch with you earlier but another woman pushed me out of the way when I wanted to enter your office. So will you grab dinner with me?" Tang Linxu said ignoring the disgusted looks and glares thrown her way. She suddenly held his wrist when he attempted to leave. "Miss Tang!" He warningly said but who was this little daredevil? She seemed to treat his threat like air. He turned to his bodyguards ready to give his orders to throw this woman out of his face but the silent Long Xia beat him to the chase. "Miss Tang, if I remember correctly, I told you to leave the premises earlier." She finally made her presence known as she removed Tang Linxu's grip from her husband's wrist. Tang Linxu turned to look at her. "You! Haoran, this is the woman who pushed me away earlier when I was the first to arrive at your door." Tang Linxu said pitifully in hopes that Zhao Haoran would chase Long Xia away. " You expect him to take your side? Seriously, how more stupid can you get?" Long Xia asked her. "Excuse me?! Long Xia finished her 'speech' and walked ahead to the private elevator, her husband and bodyguards in tow. Before the doors closed, she turned to the flabbergasted Tang Linxu who stood right outside the elevator. "Don't forget what I told you earlier. I am worse than you think you are. " With that the doors closed. "I didn't know you had such a sharp tongue."Zhao Haoran commented while in the elevator. "I have to, since I see that you have some pests around you." The doors opened and the two together with their guards stepped out of the elevator attracting everyone's attention in the lobby. They all bowed their heads when they saw the president, a sign of respect for him. But they were also shocked to see the woman from before next to their president. Once they were out of sight, murmurs erupted. "I knew she was the president's girlfriend. She is so lucky."
