Noctia the sword of the Nightosphere

Currently.

After years of waiting I once again had in my hands the sword that Petrov had called the Night Sword or Sword of the Nightsphere.

Instantly after taking it I felt lighter and more energetic as well as precise and focused.

It was an intoxicating sensation but only seconds later I felt the weight of the sword be multiplied by 5.

In the blink of an eye I was on the ground with my hands on the handle of the sword and my face kissing the cold asphalt.

Petrov shook his head and commented.

"I told you that before you can use the sword you should first become an acolyte of the Sword."

I got up with difficulty from the ground as my hands were trapped between the handle and the ground itself.

When I got up I waved my hands because of the pain that the sword had caused me to squeeze my hands.

"I know, but I'm close to getting it and I'm sure that with this sword it will help me get it"

I said hopefully.

"It is not so easy to be able to acquire the first layer of aura, look at me, I am almost 76 years old and I barely reached the second layer"

He spoke while infusing his hands with a vermilion reddish color, easily lifting the sword.

"Sometimes you forget how old you are"

I stretched my arms as much as I could to try to reactivate my muscles.

"The advantages of being faithful to the sword"

Petrov said as he wistfully cleaned the sword.

"Well it's time for you to go"

Petrov said, throwing the sword at me as if it were a light toothpick.

With difficulty I grabbed the sword with both of my arms.

As he walked me out of the back blacksmith shop I felt something long leather hit my back.

When I turned I saw on the ground a gray sword sheath with white seam ends.

Along with some ribbons that would wrap one back to correctly adjust the weight of the sword on the back.

"That thing will keep you from being arrested for carrying your sword unsheathed and that tape will help you with the weight, after all it's easier to carry things with your back."

Petrov spoke while he gave me a proud smile plastered on his face.

"I had some money left over"

When I tried to take out some leftover money from my pockets I received a light pat on the shoulder.

"It's a gift from home, after all it's not every day you sell a piece of junk that was collecting dust somewhere in a trunk at a good price."

'If this is junk, I don't want to know what the swords of the knights of my fief are'

'Would they be poorly sharpened twigs?'

I respectfully bowed to Petrov and spoke.

"I know how important this sword is to you, Petrov, I swear I will take care of it."

Before I could react I received a blow to the center of my head.

"What kind of stupidity is that? Since when do you say embarrassing things like that?"

Petrov spoke disgustedly.

I removed my bow only to rub my head for the slap I had received.

"I don't care what happens to the sword, just stay alive kid"

He said as a smile remained on his face as he scratched the long beard he had acquired over the years.

I was speechless, I knew the reason why Petrov had forged this sword with so much effort and who it had been made for.

Hearing that from his mouth just touched me.

Without saying another word I picked up the sheath along with the ribbons, put them on and sheathed the heavy sword that I could barely carry even with my training with the knights of my fiefdom.

Without saying anything else I waved goodbye.

I was determined to begin my path to being a sword master as soon as possible.

And I knew where I had to go.
