The Last Rain and Eternal Fire

The land was completely dry after the massacre of the Rain Clan. Due to the lack of water supply, animals and fauna began to die one by one, and humanity was on the verge of extinction if the lake did not appear soon. A lake with clear freshwater that flows quickly. But the lake appeared in the territory of the Fire Clan, which was notorious for being greedy and thirsty for power. Amid a drought crisis that afflicts one or both, all countries have to pay rent to get water from lakes. Dysabella Chaollski, on the other hand, is just an ordinary girl selling bread who has endured the agony of colonialism. When she was set to be slain by Merapi soldiers, however, the encounter altered her life. And just as he panicked, a blue light flashed from his body making the ground tremble, the sky rumbled, and the sky began to drip water that had not been seen for years. Dysabella had to accept the fact that the blood of the Rain Clan ran through her veins, and that she was the last and only Rain Clan. Dysabella is called by fate to bring peace to the world amidst nations torn apart by the people of fire. Dysabella realized that she, her loved ones, and her planet would be in danger if she fought the Fire Clan.

Fiorenzo's Arrival

"Do you think we can trust you, Selena?"

Selena smirked and rolled her eyes. "You've asked that question several times, and I keep answering it stupidly."

The clock now reads precisely midnight. Selena is sitting on the sofa with her two companions. They had repaired the destruction and disarray they had caused in the room. Jonathan and Amely openly expressed their concern for Dysabella on several occasions, which made Selena uncomfortable. They were now waiting for Dysabella to get ready, as the girl was departing right away tonight.

"Don't worry, Dysabella will be back in two days," one of Selena's tall pals, Alex, stated. His eyes were bright green, his hair was blonde, and he had a drab appearance. Looked like a lot of dust flakes clinging to his face

"Are you certain?" Amely glanced at Alex before turning to Selena. "What makes you think you'll return our daughter?"

Selena glanced at her friend Kenzie and stated, "Kenzie will stay here while Dysabella isn't around. He will look after you. He's good in the kitchen, so he might be able to assist you in getting the merchandise ready for the morning."

Amely and Jonathan moved their gaze to one of Selena's friends who had remained mute throughout the conversation. Kenzie's height was only up to Alex's chest, his body looking small. His complexion was pure white, his eyes were blue and slanted, his nose was little, and his hair was as sharp as a black hedgehog's fur, unkempt. She appears to be in better shape than Selena and Alex.

"He enjoys cooking and can also make bread." As Alex patted Kenzie's shoulder, he laughed. "You can always rely on him. He's also tough, though not as tough as I am. At the very least, it'll keep you safe from Dzkarda's filthy soldiers."

With a shake of his head, Jonathan expressed his dissatisfaction with the situation. "Even realize we're bakers? Anyway, how long have you been following us?"

"The Earth Clan is smart of all clans." Selena gave a small smile. "We've got something you don't know about."

Jonathan smiled and nodded. He didn't deny that Selena's integrity could not be questioned. He knows the woman was the one who saved Dysabella the first time, and then they discovered that Dysabella lied about Merapi releasing him for free the night. Selena then discovered news in the Fire Clan's territory that, even the Fire Clan didn't know about. That is worthy of commendation.

Jonathan inquired, "Where are you going to take our child?"

"To Yogo, our land." Selena said, "My teacher, more than a century old is capable of teaching Dysabella. On horseback, the trek will take five hours. We'll probably arrive in Yogo early in the morning."

"Does she also happen to be the Rain Clan?"

Selena rolled her eyes and slumped back on the sofa, embarrassment on Amely's face. "How many times have I told you that your child is the only Rain Clans left? There's nothing else."

"How about your teacher?"

"She is like me."

"How does he teach Dysabella then?" Amely inquired.

"She had a lot of experience. Morva peoples made up a large portion of his late buddies. She is well-versed in the Rain Clan's power, she knows how the Rain Clans well summons rain and summons water from the ground. Even if it's just a theory from my teacher, I am confident Dysabella will be able to figure it out." Selena bowed her arms and gazed at Amely. "If you ask again, I'll bury you alive."

Dysabella emerged quickly after that. Her eyes are swollen, and she's dressed in black training pants and a knit pullover. When Dysabella appeared, everyone leaped to their feet.

"Are you in tears?" Kenzie was the one who inquired.

"Dysabella...." Amely wrapped Dysabella in her arms. Even though Dysbella tried to hold back emotions, she would still cry when her mother hugged her. Jonathan didn't take long to catch up with him.

Selena, Alex, and Kenzie simply remained silent to give the little family some alone time.

"What's the matter with you, honey?" Amely inquired, tears streaming down her cheeks. She was aware of what they were doing right now.

"I was simply wondering what might happen next, so don't worry. I understood that by taking this action, I was putting myself and all of you in jeopardy "Dysabella replied, her voice trembling. "War with  Fire Clan and Dzkarda are the same looking for death. But if I have to die, I'd rather do so like a fighter."

"You are a wonderful daughter, and your father is very proud of you. Never give up, you are like your real mother, you are like your country." Jonathan kissed the top of his daughter's head. "Because you are the Swordsman who will save us all, everything will be alright. We'll meet up again in two days."

Mattias sat in front of the mirror in the morning, looking in the mirror at himself in his official outfit. A brown bulletproof robe with gold embroidered designs is worn over a white shirt. A dragon-embroidered belt is attached to the long white pants. His slicked-back hair appeared limp. Namar and Namir are always able to juggle everything.

Mattias rubbed his hands together. The sting is still there, and the pain is still there. The Prince was completely befuddled. He had no idea what had happened to him. Why did he feel a strong sting when he touched the girl selling bread? It felt like an imprint until now. Who is he, exactly? Why did Mattias think the lovely blue-eyed lady was different?

"Hello, my brother, Mattias."

Mattias abruptly turned, his eyes widening as he saw who was in front of his tent's curtain. Fiorenzo was dressed in the same uniform as Mattias. The man stood up and approached his half-brother, who was dressed in a brown robe and grinned crookedly.

"How did you end up here?"

Fiorenzo chuckled and sat on the bed, hitting his stepbrother on the shoulder. "After hearing about the Rain Clan's presence in Doli, which decimated the forest and shook the entire country, Father ordered me to this location. To assist you."

"I don't require your assistance," Mattias stated emphatically. "Tell Dad I'll take care of everything, without you. What about this—"

"Why?" Firenzo laughed, then stood up and drew Mattias' body closer to his own, bringing their foreheads to close together. "Are you afraid? Little brother, not only do you want to lick, but I do as well. And it appears that I'll have to teach you how to properly lick."

Fiorenzo fell back into the bed after Mattias shoved him. "I'm not like you, a leech."

Fiorenzo remarked, "You are too hypocritical, my brother." You were born from a leech, so you're a leech as well."

When Fiorenzo offended Mattias' late mother, his body shivered with rage. He snapped his fingers, and the black gloves Michael had handed him burst into flames. He strangled Fiorenzo and prepared to pitch fire at his half-brother with fire from the other hand.

Fiorenzo smirked defiantly instead of panicking. "Brother, do it. By fighting your brother in the military tent, we'll demonstrate how foolish you are."

Mattias let go of his grip and closed his hands to put out the flames. He took a step back and went away. But he came to a halt just as he was going to close the curtains outside when Fiorenzo whispered something.

"I've told the generals and other military officers that they must attend the meeting after the sun has set," Fiorenzo stated. "We'll be talking about the Last Rain. If you want to learn how to lick properly, make sure you come."

Mattias was deafeningly quiet as he tightened his fists and pushed open the curtain to step outside. He was agitated for no apparent reason, and he had no idea what had happened to him. His mind went straight to the blue-eyed pastry girl.
