Shima and John's prediction last night turned out to be true. In the area around the house, some trees still look green and lush, especially in the backyard, facing the Nepean River.
"Y'all see?" John smirked, standing proudly on the bank of the river with his hands on his waist. "Shima is right, we can make that house a shelter."
"Yea, yea, yea," Ricky noticed the murky condition of the river water. "Hey, you guys think there's something in this river we can eat—well, some kind of freshwater clam, maybe?"
"That's possible," said Adrian. "Looking at the muddy condition of this river, yeah, it looks like freshwater clams are living in this river."
As Ricky checked to the left, then Jean and Shima checked to the right, Adrian approached John.
"Hey," he whispered. "Do you still have that serum?"
John looked at Adrian, then laughed silently, "You guessed that, didn't you?"
