Thus Arthur became fiercely protective of her, to the point of beating the shit out of anyone and everyone who even looked at her funny. The blond boy always lost his mind to any matters concerning Lucia.
When the Shattering happened, Arthur went to check their house only to find blood stains in his parents' room. Feeling neither hate nor joy at their disappearance, Arthur wanted to remain filial as he remembered them being kind to him for a couple of years before Lucia was born. Like any other child, he asked why his parents suddenly changed, and they always said the same thing. "You are a spawn of the demons. Go away!"
