The Missing King.
I woke up from a bad dream. Grandmother was in there, threatening me with a knife. The old woman did not want to leave me alone. She hunted me in my dreams as well.
I sat up, hoping I would see Alistair lying there. But there was no one. I recalled what happened a few hours ago and how we had the best sex of our lives…or my life, because I wasn't sure about him. It was my first time and I bled.
Talking about blood, I got up from bed and saw the red stain. I remember asking Alistair if I should change the sheets last night, but he said there was no need for that.
Liza and the maids must be sleeping by now. I lost track of time after last night's fun. But I knew that it was morning even though everywhere was still dark.
