Six days later, grandmother was not able to convince Roland to be by her side. He did not want to listen to the plan at hand. Most of the time, he avoided her. She began to feel like a plague in the palace.
For days now, the preparation for the coronation has taken place. The king showered his new queen with so many gifts that people began to envy her.
Grandmother was surprised when he gave Arabella the castle as a gift. She always wanted that castle because of the mineral resources there. He gave it to her like it was nothing.
Again, he added twelve maids to the ones serving the princess. He gifted her so much gold, silver and diamonds. Some of his subjects from far brought in dresses made by the best tailors in the world.
It was too much. They were paying homage as if she was the queen mother. What will happen if she gives the king a male child?
Will he crown her the grand queen of the city and send his grandmother away?
