Fateful Night III

Jen, loyal servant, gazed upon the fleeing princess with bated breath as she dash with great haste towards the gates.

She was still standing there, unmoving, even after the gates closed, and Serenity vanished in her peripheral vision.

She raised her countenance towards the vast expanse of the heavens, and her flawless ivory complexion radiated with a resplendent luminosity under the gentle caress of the moon's ethereal rays.

It was a sight to behold as her luscious ebony curls flow down her back like a majestic waterfall.

Serenity's journey had just begun. In her new path, she will stumble upon the truth, which she was not supposed to learn, but she will need it to grow.

The Witch Queen did try her best to conceal the truth from the Princess. She even went so far as to prohibit her from honing and cherishing the enchanting power that no being of eternal life had ever been deemed worthy enough to possess.

The steel door behind her emitted a screech so forceful that it could be heard from miles away.

Guards swarmed the entrance, but alas, it was too late for them. The princess had already made her way to the borders that separate the glorious land of Amerysse from the treacherous domain of Zefhir, where the wicked vampires reign supreme.

The guards pass by her without a glance in her direction, their attention solely focused on the pursuit of the princess who had just escaped. Their weapons, sharp and glittering, were tightly grasped within their large fingers as they hurried forth.

Jen's lips curved into a gentle smile. She relished in the knowledge that she was veiled from their sight.

No one could see her except Serenity, who possesses an incredible gift that could see spirits.

The princess had believed that she was merely a humble servant, unaware of the truth that her presence was not of this earthly realm.

Her purpose for being there was shrouded in mystery, but now that she has fulfilled her divine mission, there is no longer a purpose for her to remain.

Finally, after a century of waiting, she was prepared to embark on her journey back to the place of her origin.

With grace and poise, she knelt to the ground, and from her delicate frame, sprouted the most exquisite wings, as white as freshly fallen snow and as soft as a feather's touch. She gazed skyward, ready to soar into the heavens with grace and majesty.

Within the sacred tome of prophecy, the wisdom that was once privy to only a select few has been inscribed for all to behold.

It says that the eyes are but a window to the very essence of one's being. Eyes possess a mystical quality, for they reveal that which may be concealed from the naked eye.

It is only through gazing deep into the very depths of one's eye that a mere glimpse of the unfathomable truth may be revealed.

The alluring creatures of the night known as vampires, have mesmerizing crimson orbs, a color that symbolizes their thirst for blood. But the most formidable among them possess rare and precious eyes that shimmer like the finest gold, a true testament to their otherworldly power.

Witches posses black, a sign of their powers that came from darkness.

The magnificent Shape Shifters, whose eyes are adorned with the enchanting hue of blue, symbolizes the celestial moon they look up as their god.

The mystical fairies and magical beings that grace the world, possess the most enchanting shade of green, reminiscent of the lushness and vibrancy of nature itself.

Silvery eyes, the rarest shade, were a fallen angel's eye color.

And gray eyes....they belonged to the darkest realms... The demons whom all immortal beings feared.

Jen's wings did unfurl, as she gracefully ascended towards the heavens, her delicate form soaring higher and higher with each passing moment.

The mere thought of Serenity's stunning beauty caused a wave of joy to wash over her countenance, resulting in a radiant smile to form on her lips. A smile which disappeared as a familiar mesmerizing silvery-gray eyes flashed in her thoughts.

Jen's once serene visage was shrouded in a veil of trepidation.

It could not be gainsaid that Serenity was the Demon king's daughter.
