Chapter 6

The next morning Mikoto calls a meeting in Homra. Everyone shows but Myranda shows up late, in oversized gray t-shirt and coffee cup.

Mikoto: Well, now that everyone is here, let's get started. The blues. I have a hunch they might be planning something.

Rickio: How do you know their planning something boss.

Mikoto: I never said I know what their planning but from the encounter me and Myranda had last night.....

Everyone looks at Myranda. She looks back at everyone, eyes wide as she sips her coffee.

Myranda: What, stop looking at me.

Mikoto: Like I was saying from last nights encounter with Munakata. I have a feeling their planning something that involves Myranda greatly. Munakata wanted to have a one on one fight with me last night but I think he held back because she was there.

Everyone looks back to Myranda.

Myranda: Was that all Mikoto?

Mikoto: Yes, it was, for now.

Myranda: Ok then, now if you don't mind I'm going back to bed.

She says getting up out of her seat and walking towards her room.

Izumo: How can she be so tired but try to act so awake. It doesn't make sense.

Yata: Give her a break, she worries to much about us and it makes her have a lot of stress, half of it caused by me.

Izumo: So what's the plan boss, are we gonna have to protect her or something of the sort.

Mikoto: Always having your eye on the target, Izumo. Yes, if she goes out one of us has to go with her. And yes, she may scream and yell at us, but we are gonna protect her one way or another. Understand.

Everyone: Yes, boss.

Mikoto sits down at the bar and Izumo looks at him with curiosity.

Izumo: So, what really happened last night, boss.

Mikoto: What do you mean it's exactly as I said.

Izumo: So you didn't pull any stunts with her last night.

Mikoto takes a sip of his drink and looks to his side.

Mikoto: Maybe, something of the sort. But you do not say a word of this to anybody. Got it.

Izumo: Yea, Yea I got it.

Mikoto: Ok, then.
