Arrogance is bliss

In the Independent Merchant Republic of Fuhren 8 beyond beautiful girls walked side by side amongst a crowd.

Each of the girls had rings on their left ring finger except for one who wore a collar. Each of the girls also wore a silver necklace with a pitch-black pendant around their necks.

Of course, these girls were the wives of none other than Akio Izumi.

They were with their remaining day before they followed through with the promise of spending the day together with just them. It was a girl's day out and they used this chance to increase their bond with one another.

They had enjoyed the attractions of a less technologically advanced world. They had gone to an aquarium and eaten various local snacks.

Now the 8 were currently just walking around aimlessly looking for a less crowded place to sit.

That was until a man with a haughty atmosphere began walking towards them. Behind him stood multiple people all of which were clad in an oppressive aura.

"What luck do I have, to find such beautiful women. This must be fate can I invite all of you out to my mansion." The man spoke trying to entice the girls by insinuating that he was rich.

Still, he was not even looked at as all the girls flashed their rings, or in Tio's case, she outstretched her neck.

The man with a bit of anger in his voice spoke again with a twitching smile.

"Oh those, it doesn't matter, I promise I can show you what it means to be with a true man." The man spoke still walking forward until he found himself not able to anymore, it seemed there was an invisible barrier in front of him.

"I will say this once, get lost," Aurora spoke still not even looking at the man.

The man lost his patients when he heard those words. "That wasn't a request, men bring them to the mansion."

With his words, all the men started charging at the girls planning to tie them up and put them on a cart.

That was their plan, however.

*Splat*

In an instant, before the men could even reach 2 meters in the girl's vicinity they all found their vision split.

They had all been chopped directly in half. Their blood stained the concrete as their organs started to spill out.

Seeing this scene the man from earlier dropped to the floor on his ass.

"W-what the hell j-just happened." His face was pale and a visible wet spot could be seen on his pants.

It was at this point that Aurora once again spoke. "Consider this a mercy, I'm sure my husband would have made you suffer endlessly if he was to find out about this."

Aurora turned one eye to the man, with complete indifference in her gaze as if she was looking at a spec of dirt. There was no hate in her gaze, why would she hate something as insignificant as the being in front of her.

When she had reunited with her lover she had found that her tolerance for anything that wasn't related to him was extremely low. The side of her that may have had a little bit of care for even strangers was replaced by more love and devotion to Akio. This seemed to be the same for most of his lovers except the ones who cared for their family or friends.

"That look, you can't do this to me. DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?! I'm-." Those were the last words of the man before his head was separated from his neck.

The whole scene was viewed by multiple citizens who were all shaken to the core. Their faces were pale as they stood there shaken.

Aurora looked up finally taking notice of all of them. Her indifferent gaze was enough to snap the people out of their daze as they all screamed in pure terror and all ran away.

*Sigh*

"I guess it's about time to go home," Aurora spoke to the rest of the girls who were also sighing.

Even at the sight of a man being killed ruthlessly, they wouldn't feel remorse, especially since that said man insulted their beloved.

With that Shizuku cut open a rift in space to which all the girls walked in and were immediately greeted by the figure of Akio sitting down on a couch with Myu in his lap sleeping. Remia was sitting across from them staring at the sight with warmth in her eyes.

They were in Remia's house and Akio decided to open time with the two while they were away. He spent time with Myu swimming in the water outback before she eventually fell asleep when brought inside. After that Remia started to tell stories of their past.

That lasted for a while before Akio took notice of the girls and greeted them with a warm smile.

"Welcome back, how was your outing."

Currently, in the Heiligh Kingdom, the students were all guided into a throne room where a man sat with a maid behind him. The man had lifeless eyes, unlike his usual clear ones.

"Thank you for responding to my order's students, I, unfortunately, bring bad news." The man spoke his voice having absolutely no emotion.

"We have received word from one of Lord Ehit's messengers announcing that from this day forth the individuals Akio Izumi, Shizuku Yaegashi, Kaori Shirasaki, Komi Shouko, Hajime Nagumo, and Yuka Sonobe will all be labeled as heretics for their act of going against humanity." Eliheid continued to speak in his neutral voice.

'I knew it, there is no way that guy was good, but the others. That can't be right.'

Kouki spoke while the others were still lost in their daze.

"Your majesty, I believe the women were kidnapped and brainwashed by that bastard Akio, it is unfair to label them as heretics."

Kouki spoke with a senseless argument. Unknowingly his words caused a smile to appear on the maid behind the king's lips.

"Your suspicions have also been taken into account by Ehit. That is the reason we have called you all here, you have been given your first mission as gods chosen apostles. You are to find the whereabouts of Akio Izumi and find out if he truly is brainwashing the girls. After that, you are to take action to eliminate him and save the girl's from his clutches. Do you understand?" Eliheid spoke his voice clear but still emotionless.

"Yes sir." Kouki was the only one to respond as the others were still in shock.

'I knew it he is a villain he must be eliminated.'

After the students left the only two that remained in the room were the maid and Eliheid.

The maid walked over to the window leaving Eliheid who looked like a puppet who just had his strings cut.

She took off her habit revealing her appearance as a silver-haired blue-eyed woman.

"With this, the plan has been set in motion. Irregular you have interrupted my lord's game board long enough, it is time for you to be dealt with." The woman who can now be identified as Hearst spoke to no one.

It had been a few days since she had received orders to get rid of the irregular and with news of the death of Freid Bagwa, she decided to up her tactics. She would use the students to fight thinking they wouldn't want to kill their classmates. She would then make a trap with the rest of her sisters once the location of Akio and the girls were found and find if any of them had a body worthy of her lord.

Hearst left the room deciding to report back to her lord.
