Death Magic

As Adam was waking up from his long sleep, he tried to remember what he was doing, as he remembered he tried for the first time practicing his Magic and fell asleep after managing to cast Darkness Magic.

As He remembered that he hadn't tried Death Magic and still has an hour till his Mother comes to feed him. And with that he tried imagining Death to combine it with the Mana around him, he tried imaginined Death as something peacefull with all worries gone and just sleep eternally, but also something to be feared of and always try to get away from it because to some it is Freedom but to some it is their End, which tosses them into a Pit of Fire.

As he was trying to imagine Death for the Element to appear and blend with the Mana around him, something surprising happened, a grey fog appeared even though he hadn't mixed it with Mana, as he was surprised by this he dispersed it, immediatly and asked the [System] about it: ,,[System] I tried casting the Death Magic I had an affinity for but i haven't even managed to mix it with Mana"

It replied: ,,Death Magic has its own Magic System and doesn't need to mix with Mana like the other Elements, though Death Magic is the only one who doesn't need to mix with Mana, Death Magic also doesn't harm the user and only makes him or her stronger" as Adam understood that he tried casting Death Magic again

When the familiar grey Fog came out that gave him sometimes a warm but also ominous feeling, he tried moving it onto his Body and like with the Darkness Magic it blended with his Body, but this time it didn't make him invisible or hard to see, it sent him into an gaseous State and he could feel that he could suck the Life Force out of other things, he spotted a Spider at the corner of the Room that came from the outside.

As he tried that on the Spider it just moved as if nothing happened and he thought it didn't work, but after 5 Seconds of taking the Life Force the Spider stopped moving and slowly began to vanish after some time. The whole Spider vanished and an refreshing feeling came over him. The [System] send an alert this time again but it were 2.

As he was reading trough his [Stats] he noticed that his Intelligence related Stats kept rising but his Physical Stats, even when they rose only by a little so when he asked the [System] it answered: ,,Hosts Body is naturally developing, Host must know the average Stat of a Human, here is 10, one can make ones Physical Body stronger by strengthening it with Magic, but this is only to be done when the Physical Body finished developing" it paused for some Seconds to let Adam digest it.

As Adam was ready to listen again it continued: ,,Hosts Body will likely finishing developing when Host is 16, Host will also gain the benefit of Meditating trough this as Impurities are being terminated and Hosts own Talent is still growing" as it was done with its explanation Adam still had a question in mind.

,,Aren't Affinity and Talent the same ?" there was a Pause, but the [System] still answered: ,,No...Affinity displays in which Element one has a chance to control it and Talent how much faster one can achieve a deeper level of understanding in that Element, though Talent can't be displayed Host will notice it trough time" as Adam finished listening he felt a little ashamed for asking that question

But he fast tried to change the Subject: ,,Those [Stat Points] are used for raising my Stats right ?" the [System] replied with a simple ,,Yes" and so Adam thought of were he should put the [Stat Points] in and decided he will put them in Luck as he only had this Stat at 1 and it didn't rose even trough all this time, so he put them all in Luck and now even though it wasn't at 10 like with any normal person, it was at least at 6 and next time he will have it at 11.

As he noticed he got new Passive and finally Active [Skills] he asked the [System] about it again: ,,What is the difference between [Beginner Poison Magic Mastery] and [Poison Magic Control]" the [System] answered him that the difference is that [Poison Mastery] improves his understanding of the Element and [Poison Control] his Control of the Element, meaning in which Shapes he can Form the Element or how good and fast his Control with it is.

It also said if he wanted to upgrade his [Mastery] and [Control] of those Elements, he would have to cast them over and over again while improving his Control over these Elements. As he was following the advice the [System] gave him, he heard Footsteps coming his way, so he immediately dispersed his Magic and laid there pretending he was sleeping.

As Violett was entering the Room she noticed traces of Poison Magic and freaked a little bit out and quickly went over to her Child and checked if he was Poisoned or if anything was wrong with him, after checking him for a while and not finding anything, she calmed a little down, but was still on alert. But ignored it for now as she can't find anything and went back to her usual morning Routine of feeding him and telling him about the world even though he doesn't understand anything.

Adam who noticed this inwardly sighed of relief and thanked the Gods she didn't notice anything, imagine his Mother would find out a 2 Week old Baby would know how to cast Magic, she would probably feel horrified and maybe find out that he can understand anything they said.

As his Mother calmed down she started with her usual routine, feeding him while talking about the world, this time she wants to talk about the Magical Beasts that live inside Forests or other uninhabited Regions. They are categorized in Apprentice Beasts, Adept Beasts, Wizard Beasts and Great Wizard Beasts.

The Apprentice Beasts are Beasts that use Magic only to strengthen their Bodies, to make them for example stronger, faster or more agile. They are not really strong even a normal Human can kill them if they are careful.

Adept Beasts are Beasts that are done with strengthening their Bodies and can use simple, but deadly Spells like for a Snake that can coat its Fangs in Poison Element to make it more Poisonous or Wind Element for Birds as they are faster with it. The same Concept is applied for the other Elements that the Beasts use. They are as strong as a 1 grade Small Circle Magician to the 9th grade, most of them cannot be killed by normal Humans, but there are some exceptions like Snails or Ants, but only if they are not in a group.

Wizard Beasts have strengthens their and also have a deeper understanding of the Element they are using, now they not only can Magic use to strengthen the Body or strengthen and Attack with Magic they can now use it to fire [Spells] or in other words [Skills] they are already as strong as an 9 grade Middle Circle Magician that goes up to the next grade. They can't be killed by normal Human beings and need a Magician of the same Circle if not higher.

Great Wizard Beasts are equivalent to High Circle Magicians and can cause the Landscape in a certain Region to be completely destroyed and that only with their Magic [Spells]. A group of 6 High Circle Magicians of the same Rank is needed, to take down such a Beast as they're high recovery rate makes them almost invincible to weaker Magicians, they are by Kingdoms classified as natural disasters, as a Kingdom in Backwater have no more than 6 High Circle Magicians, with the Royal Family included and they can't be injured as this would cause the End of the Kingdom.

Apparently there are grades above those mentioned bur they were never seen near this Kingdom.

As his Mother was done with her Routine, Adam quickly fell asleep as casting Magic is burdening his mind and he needs sufficient rest. So as Violett saw her Son sleeping she brought him to his Bed but this time she stayed in the next room, as to be careful if something happened.
