Finally, the 9th level of the Foundation was laid down.

The nine platforms of the foundation, each had unique sets of runic markings all over their faces. The colors of these runes started from blue, green, red, brown, silver, black, white, grey and ended with pale-gold. The one common thing was the presence of a runic lotus at the center of each of the nine platforms. All the nine combined together to form a pyramidal structure glowing with a resplendent light.

And every time Meng Tian filled up the required Energy Points for a level, a new extraordinary meridian was summoned by the foundation platform. After completing the first eight levels of Foundation Establishment, eight extraordinary meridians were summoned.

After completing the ninth platform/level of Foundation Establishment, the nine-layered pyramid foundation started its summoning again. But this time, all the eight extraordinary meridians showed up and started pumping in large amounts of Qi into the Foundation. This was completely different from what he had expected to happen.

As the Foundation started devouring Qi from these new meridians, the runic lotuses on each of the nine levels started to glow with their own colors... And an image of a Beige-colored Runic Lotus started to form on top of the Foundation. After just a couple of seconds, the illusory lotus began to solidify and a huge thousand petal beige runic lotus took shape.

It gradually started to bloom and a primeval aura emanated from the flower. The eight extraordinary meridians were completely depleted of their Qi reserves by the end of this process. Once the thousand petal runic lotus bloomed, it started its own summoning process.

Immediately, Meng Tian's Soul in the consciousness space shook with a holy white light which started the process of Stat Synchronization.

The size of his Soul remained the same as there was no change to either of his Water and Wood Talents during the Foundation Establishment stage. But the Soul Strength increased tremendously from this cultivation session.

His Soul then began to answer the summons, and formed a spiritual connection with the beige runic lotus inside his dantian. The thread connecting the lotus with his Soul was completely illusory, and it seemed like some important information was being transmitted to the Lotus.

The Beige Runic Lotus then started devouring the Qi inside the dantian in tremendous amounts and the dantian was filled with Qi multiple times to accommodate the flower. All of the Qi that was used throughout this process was generated by the System, and not absorbed from the outside. Hence, these earth-shattering changes completely escaped the surveillance mechanisms of the school.

A small golden pellet the size of a finger nail, started forming at the center of the Beige Runic Lotus. Once the pellet was formed, the connection of his Soul with the Lotus was severed automatically. Then, the beige-color runes on the lotus started glowing and an identical set of beige runes were imprinted onto the golden pellet.

An instant later, Meng Tian heard a sound of some kind of shackles breaking, right beside his ear. He was used to this by now as it had happened twice already. So, he ignored it as his entire being experienced a soothing sense of shedding a colossal amount of weight from his shoulders. This feeling disappeared when a new prompt appeared in front of his eyes.

The process of his breakthrough from Foundation Establishment Level 1 to Core Formation Level 1 took more than forty minutes. The major consumption in time was due to the continuous generation and absorption of Qi inside his dantian, that occurred multiple times at each level up.

But the thing to make note of was that it had not even been ten hours, since he first learnt about the existence of cultivation. This was absolutely inconceivable for any cultivator... The so-called monstrous geniuses are unquestionably below him in any aspect.

The things he's lacking the most are cultivation knowledge, and the skills to use his elemental talents. Dual-Element Talent is already rare, and he can even acquire all the five elemental talents with the appropriate materials.

When Meng Tian reached the Perfect level in the 'Eye of Charm' skill, a peculiar blue shade flashed in his eyes just for a brief moment. New information popped up in his mind on the various uses of this skill.

The Perfect Eye of Charm could make anyone at and below his cultivation level, to be mesmerized by him... Thereby subtly manipulating their thought processes to his desire. There was even a feature where he could use this skill to fully make any normal human to be completely obedient to himself.

He then set his eyes on his new talent- Elemental Wood Affinity. Just as he spent his Energy Points to level it up, Meng Tian felt an indescribable sense of comfort in his Soul... Like he had become even more closer to nature.
