Kelvin

"You ready for the game, mate?" a boy asks Kelvin, "To be honest though, I'm kind of excited and nervous at the same time." Kelvin says to his partner. "We know you win these." Kelvin shakes off the feeling and proceeds to enter the field, a crowd is screaming in awe of the really majestic soccer players. As they get in positions for the match, the referee blows the whistle and the match is started the ball is in between the opponent's feet approaching towards their goal; We see a swiftly running jock that knows how to dodge everyone and do the best passes and the commentator screams, "GOOAAAALLLLLLL! One point for Kamomedai High". We see an out of breath Morgan and Kelvin, Morgan is the captain for Sunmount High, he has worked really hard to achieve this position and holds team captain for 2 years… "It's alright Kelvin, the match just started." Kamomedai school looks at them in disgust, but their Capt. Ryan says to himself, "They're valuable opponents, it's going to be a commendable match." The cheerleaders for Kamomedai High are cheering for them in a proud manner. The referee whistles again and thus another round starts, this time the opponent plays smartly and reads Sunmount's players movement and acts accordingly. Whenever a player comes close to them, they'd pass the ball to their teammate. Kelvin takes notice of this and gets in between their passing and snatches the ball from their feet; He runs like there is no tomorrow, passes to the Morgan and… "GOALL! One point for Sunmount High." We can see Sunmount's cheerleaders cheering for our players as well. The referee whistles for half time and their tied for their goal, both teams extremely exhausted; head to their chambers for a drink and leg break, Sunmount's coach and Morgan commend Kelvin for the amazing read and a fantastic goal, "Kid, if you keep this up, we'll win for sure!" says the coach "Good work out there Kelvin" says Morgan. Kelvin is quite happy to receive those compliments and appreciates them for having him on the team, "Ofcourse kid! People with talent like you are always welcome here." Their break soon ends and they head out to the field looking more energetic than ever. The other teams head out as well but they look quite odd, much gloomier than before. The referee blows the whistle and the game starts, Kamomedai High is much faster than before but they're doing something different, the ball gets snatched from the Morgan's legs by Kamomedai High's player and he runs with it to their goal, luckily the goalkeeper was fast enough to keep the ball from getting into the goal. The crowd in favor of Kamomedai High was bummed out that they couldn't score. Sunmount's team let out a sigh of relief and continued. Morgan commended the goalkeeper and the game continued… A loud scream is heard, all the attention goes to a player from Sunmount's team getting badly hurt, the infirmary team arrives and carries him away. A red card is waved to Kamomedai High. Sunmount team morale dropped, they couldn't focus anymore, they lost a goal; score is 2 - 1 now. Morgan gathers his team around him and asks for a strategic timeout. "Listen, I know we lost a player but what was the guy here to do?" A moment of silence is taken, "He wanted to win and I'm sure that you guys are also here for that reason, don't let that bum you out… We got a game to win." And just like that, with a few words of encouragement and motivation, Sunmount was back on track and they ended the game with a tie. They were sure to win if they hadn't lost that one person in their team.
