Chapter 5 The Mysterious Man

After that, it very tiring day of cleaning putting the place in order inside was like a mad man's house.

Suffering from fatigue I collapsed on the bed... "damn, I woke up really late", there was no gadget except from a battery-less wall clock. After freshening up in the bathroom I put on my armour and stepped out 'no sign of human for days' looks like today I'll have to find my city.

Stepping out I saw a slime monster that to me will make a good chocolate ice-cream, remembering I'm hungry I killed it and ate it for break fast.

"A wall! Isn't that my city wall", I sighted a wall after walking a few metres from the house, guess I live at the outskirts of the city in a forest were monsters are lurking nearby but with my skills and weapons I could handle any intruders or so I thought.

Turns out itwas a city but not my city, the city gate guards were shocked when I passed for a reason, but I didn't care until everyone was pointing a whispering at me, maybe it was my armour.

Then an old aged man walked by me and paused then told me to meet him in his house in the evening. A monster crashed through the city but the heroes came in time.

"Strike here! Then there! Ahhh you could have moved at that moment!" I was cheering the heroes while everyone thought I'm a fool, soon the C-class heroes were defeated and it was time for me to step up, walking calmly to the monster, close enough to percieve the bad odour of the monster.

The monster striker but I dodged it easily for the crowd to cheer which made the monster let a loud roar, it started throwing punches wildly which I dodged easily I chuckled tending to the spot it managed to hit me, then I took out my sword and took a fighting stance we clashed then I used the distraction to pluck out one of its eyes then slashed it in half. The other monster attacked me unawares but the old man I met earlier grabbed it and threw it on the ground killing it. 'The man is stronger than he looks' "hey can i come to your house now" *silence* "I'll take that as a yes." I said following him.
