Zerstörer’s Acclimation

"Woah, icy…" Sekito said sitting hundreds of meters away from the mansion. 

"The entire state got turned into silver how pretty." 

Aylin's eyes glittered as the silver reflected light from the sun.

"This is over Zerstörer."

I touched his chest feeling the loxes resonate inside of him.

"Shatter."

Silver started to crack, but it didn't break in the normal way. A small crack opened up from the place I had focused on and slowly spread like broken glass across his chest. 

Something was wrong. It would normally immediately shatter the being into millions of bits why hasn't the silver on his body completely been destroyed yet? 

The cracks spread more and more until they opened up his chest area, revealing a disturbing pulsing grey flower.

"Shit… he managed to activate the Aeon of Breakage before being completely frozen."

From the grip of my hand, I materialized a silver sword. The plan was to thrust it right into his heart and finish him off quickly but before it touched his chest. 

Devina told me to back off and not touch him. I let go of the silver sword that had touched his skin. 

It stood completely still, even though it wasn't even one cm into his body, it stood completely straight as if it was defying gravity.

"His ability is to slow things down to such a speed that it doesn't happen but he can also accelerate an object's speed to infinity."

That means anything in contact with him in this current moment will be stopped completely in time. But then how am I supposed to finish this guy off?

"Keep freezing him, add more laying of silver but don't shatter it."

Receiving Devina's order I try to focus on the loxes surrounding him just to realize the loxes around him had completely stopped moving and were inactive.

"It is no good Devina."

I thought for a moment, as of this moment he is slowing down things around him to infinity how is he still alive? So it affects everything around him except him. 

An idea popped up into my mind, an attack that ignores speed and focuses on just dividing the space between those two parts of space and time. It would mean, I'm not hitting him but I'm hitting everything between him.

But did such an attack exist?

"Devina was is going on?" Aylin asked.

"He is slowing down time around him but he is still covered in that silver but it won't shatter because of his Aeon."

"Then what do we do?"

Devina thought for a moment.

"Well because the silver is covering his body only and not the tissues inside him. He should be alive but if he decides to accelerate time on that silver he would take some considerable amount of damage."

From the head of the silver statue, I hear grunting and panting. 

An raspy infuriated voice called out saying:

"Fuck it."

The silver completely shattered showing a Zerstörer with burn marks all across his body.

It was like seeing a dried-up corpse but it was only his skin that had been burnt.

His eyelids had also been burned off but opening his eyes, they were bloodshot red. The pupils dilated as they searched around for their target. 

It was like seeing a zombie charge straight at me, it was terrifying but I slid away into the air with a sword made of silver.

"Vivshi.. no matter what, do not get touched by him."

Devina gave me that strict warning before the encounter. But if I was to interact with Zerstörer our trump card would come into play. I smirked before tapping my back. 

"You fucking coward! Come down here!"

I descended onto the rooftop of his mansion before looking down upon his charred body. 

"You think you have won? Just because you can burn me up a little?"

But as he said that, I smirked as blood spurted out of his skin. Surprised he stood completely still looking straight down with blood dripping from every crevice of his body.

Zerstörer looked up at me after a few seconds, you left me no choice Aeon of Freedom.

Had he given up on trying to catch by conventional means? Did he know he wasn't fast enough to catch me? What was he planning to do?

"Aeon Acclimation… INVERSED GRAVE."

"This is the moment we have been waiting for, closely analyze Vivshi, Aylin! If you sense any sign of trouble teleport him immediately to us."

Aylin gave a reassuring nod to Devina before turning worriedly back towards Vivshi.

I held my hand up against the cold metal collar against my neck. The insides of the collar started to beep but grabbing it with both hands I filled it with silver before shattering it. 

Zerstörer didn't seem stressed about it, he just stood still there. What would his acclimation be all about? The latest acclimation from Viego was lethal and he said Zerstörer's would be stronger.

From Zerstörer's back grew 10 flesh-like creatures. Each one of them had the head of a different animal. That was his acclimation?

I had to keep my guard up at all times, these animals sat connected to his back. 

Honestly, what is that disgusting mess of an acclimation? Viego's was more refined and elegant but this one had deformed animal heads.

The snakehead hissed at me, and I was frozen in my tracks, it was as if I had been completely petrified. 

Halting the movement of another living being… taking away the freedom of a human being… unforgivable… what you did Vivshi, was unpardonable. You took away the only thing you had left in this world.

Even with my body being completely frozen, black oil started to drip down from my cheek. Slowly trickling more and more. An angelic blue light shone from my chest as it ruptured through my spine. Behind me was the beautiful sword the Silver Saint handed me. The light was emitted from it as it formed a ring of light around it.

The Aeon of Freedom took over my head for a moment but my consciousness shifted back into control. What was going on? 

I could move again, the Aeon of Freedom dripped down from my cheek as I felt its power coursing through me. 

Zerstörer's snake hissed at me again but it was turned into silver before shattering.

"What?" Zerstörer's confident smirk died down for a moment before reappearing.

The silver sword was preventing loxes from entering my body and reflecting them. I felt unstoppable, the full power of Freedom had been given to me! I had full control of my body.

Zerstörer's charred body started to finally move and he stepped. But as he laid down his first step, he was right next to me. The head of the cat hissed at me. He reached out his arm but before it made contact with me, I took out Velpra and cut off my left arm. 

He grabbed my arm and it vanished, it turned into dust. I leapt back holding my arm. From my shirt, crawled out a little cat that started to sit around my shoulder. 

The mark of Rejuvenation emerged on its cheek. My arm started to regrow, and it grew back in only a few seconds. 

"Let's turn up the music shall we?"
