Allegrano once again showed me the contract.
"Miss. Devina, the only thing I want is for you to revolutionize the current Nautilus government and change it from a capitalist country to a closed-off nation with a dictator."
"If you can sign the contract then you will receive all your friends back intact."
"Is it that fun to play god and cause an upheaval?" I sarcastically said.
"You may do it in any way you want."
Should I go out of my way to save all these people? Humans will continue to suffer in this country regardless if it is a capitalist or a dictatorship. Nautilus was a big exporter of natural coal and iron, it had also a lot of factories on land that produced steel.
To overthrow the country could impose the risk of those factories shutting down. Was that what Allegrano wanted?
"Say Allegrano, why are you doing this today? Couldn't it be on a Friday or a Saturday?"
"Apologies Miss. Devina, I cannot reveal that to you, but I doubt that question was because of ignorance."
To risk my life causing such chaos within a country, ah, that reminded me of all the things I did while I was a child.
Why would I sacrifice my freedom for the release of all my friends? Is that something I should do?
I took some steps towards him, now face to face with him. I shoved my hand down his pocket and snagged the contract.
I took out a pen from my pocket dimension and wrote down.
"I hereby will be eternally bound by this contract and will complete it or do it until the requirements of the contract are met. Devina Tetolis."
I stared up at him and he looked back down at me. His eyes were wide and full of confusion, but then it turned into a bittersweet smile.
I put the contract back into his pocket and he handed me Oslovi and reverted Marlowlia and Zeri to normal. Their holes became undone and their bodies could move normally again. They thought they had died for a moment but then after realising there was no pain, their panic resided.
He then turned his back and walked away without saying anything. His figure eventually disappears and merges with the darkness.
"Now then, we got Oslovi back."
"What happened Devina? Marlowlia asked."
"Who was that? Zeri continued."
I told them that he was a lawyer I hired a few hundred years ago for a case of property damage Sekito caused.
They seemed to understand with all the head nodding.
Marlowlia looked at me with a concerned face, "can we go after Fiviana now?"
"We don't need to do that."
I teleported all of us back to the Fivindius estate and there leaning against the gate was a bloodied and broken Fiviana that lay there unconscious.
Marlowlia immediately went up to her but didn't touch her little sister. Most likely fearing to inflict more unnecessary damage on her, or make her wake up from the excruciating pain she must be in.
She ran inside and called the maids to come out and help. Together they put Fiviana on a stretcher and carried her inside.
Alright, now just to wake up Oslovi.
It was completely uninjured but it was severely overdosed with narcotics that put it in a coma-like state.
I then left Zeri and Marlowlia alone to do what they had to do. While they weren't looking, I teleported to my boat lab and created a modified version of naloxone(Narcan). I put a good dosage of it into a spraying tube placed it on the roof of Oslovi's mouth and sprayed. After a few seconds of no reaction, it started coughing and wheezing. But it was conscious again.
"Hello there, kitty cat ^^."
It scratched my face bounced off my body and landed gracefully on the floor. Yeah, I wouldn't be in such a good mood either if people drugged me and then forced me to wake up. It started wandering around the lab and I tried giving it some treats, it took some time before it could trust me again.
When I was able to pick it up, I teleported back to my house. I carried it in my hands while trying to open my bedroom door.
"SEKITO!!!"
She came out wiping tears off her eyes while yawning. Sekito was in her night clothes which I found inappropriate.
"Put some clothes on, I'm reviving Vivshi."
Her body shot up like an arrow when I mentioned Vivshi.
"You gonna revive that crazy maniac?"
"He is at least not as crazy as when you haven't had your late-night champagne."
She looked at me with her facial muscles twitching and smiled at me.
"Sure, sure, this is surely normal. Your younger sister bringing home a magical cat to revive a guy who can blow up a whole mansion at 10:11 pm."
With a sigh, she went back into her room and after some rustling, she came back with her fluffy wool knitted jumper and a short white skirt.
"Alright, I'm just going to stand in there with you in case anything happens."
She opened the door and Vivshi's head was on my table exhaling and inhaling the yellow-green liquid.
"Yuck, that looks disgusting, what did you do with his head, Devina?"
I felt scratching on the inside of my forearm and Oslovi broke free and rushed towards Vivshi's head.
It watched as Vivshi was just floating in a jar. But it knew that he was alive, somehow Vivshi was still there. It activated the Aeon of Rejuvenation and charged up. But at the last second, it healed Vivshi, I smashed the jar with a hammer and Vivshi's body grew back to normal.
Oslovi immediately jumped into Vivshi's arms and Vivshi stood there shocked and delirious about everything.
"Welcome back Vivshi."
Sekito threw a piece of cloth at Vivshi and wrapped it around his waist with her chains.
After a few seconds of standing on the table naked with nothing more than a piece of cloth covering his private area. He finally panicked and started breathing normally again.
He sat down on the table and hugged Oslovi who nuzzled against his warm skin. I walked up to him and in synch, we high-fived each other.
"Ready to complete your mission and heal Fiviana?"
"Heck yeah, can't wait to save her freedom."
