Chapter 29 Matilda, the Moth to the Fire

After getting up in the morning, Charles sent his daughter Betty to the kindergarten as usual. To his surprise, Sue had already returned to work.

"Mr. Garcia!" Sue came up to greet Charles enthusiastically.

"Miss Lyon, is your mother's condition getting better?"

"Yes! And thanks to Mr. Garcia for your help."

Sue took over and hugged Betty, and she heard Betty’s milky voice say, "Miss Lyon, I missed you these few days while you were away!"

"Betty, Teacher misses you too!" Sue smiled, and Betty pressed her forehead lightly.

Charles suddenly remembered that his wife Rosemary was going to attend the class reunion at night. He had to follow her to prevent his wife from being taken advantage of by the bastard Steven. But no one helps to take care of Betty. Charles's eyes got bright when he saw Sue, and he seemed to have the best candidate.

"Miss Lyon, can I trouble you with one thing?" Charles asked Sue.
