Bruno was a big shot in New York City. He rarely asked for a favor.

Elton's circle was different from Bruno's. If he wanted to be in cahoots with Bruno, he would have already been friends with Bruno instead of going against Bruno.

Elton sneered, "Mr. Paveley, I'm sorry! Charles is my friend. I can't watch his woman be humiliated by you, let alone in my hotel."

"Good, Elton! You have the guts."

Bruno glared at Elton, knowing that with Elton present, he couldn't have sex with Rosemary. He didn't even have time to change his clothes. He grabbed the clothes at the head of the bed in a bathrobe. When he walked to Elton, he said coldly, "Elton, since you don't give me face, don't blame me for being impolite to your family."

Elton narrowed his eyes. "Mr. Paveley! Don't think that I will be afraid of you just because you are a big shot in New York City."

"Let's wait and see." Bruno gave a cold snort and walked away.
