54. Pregnancy test done

When Mahi and Avatar reached home, Mrs Kapoor had already waiting for them.

"Mahi…" She stood up and walked toward Mahi.

It's been a month after she wakes up from coma and today finally she got discharge from that hospital.

Everyone close to her came to meet her, but mother in law is feeling guilty as such accident happened after Mahi married to her son and become their family.

Their eyes met. Mahi knew that her mother-in-lawn is emotional.

"Mahi…" Mrs Kapoor grabbed Mahi's hand and wanted to say something, but she didn't know what to say. She had endured and sacrificed too much.

"Mom, do you have food? I'm hungry…" Mahi smiled.

Mrs Kapoor looked at her smiling face and her eyes instantly reddened. She quickly said, "Yes… Yes! I got someone to make your favorite dishes!"

"Let's go eat, then." Mahi held her arm.

"Alright." Mrs Kapoor's voice was a little choked looking at Mahi's injuries.

Mr Kapoor looked at Avatar. "Avatar, you can't do anything to let Mahi down in this lifetime, not even a little. Otherwise, I'll be the first person to not let you off!"

She was such a good daughter-in-law that even his own son must not let her down!

Why would he do anything to let his wife down?! He would do everything he could to dote on her!

Mahi had always been a talkative person. Although she had not spoken to her in-laws that much so she had made the atmosphere so lively that it was as if they had never separated and those things had never happened.

Mr. kapariya reach on the door of Kapoor Mansion and walked in lead by servants.

"Miss Mahi, I hope you are feeling well now."

Mahi looked at the person standing and curved her lips slightly. She smiled sweetly and said, "Uncle kapariya, I'm good?"

Mr. kapariya mesmerized by the sweet smile, but soon snap back to his senses "I'm glad to know, you are doing well."

Mahi smile even brightly, c'mon she not a saint. If you play with her, she will return the hundred fold of that.

Karthik is standing quietly and looking at the piece of paper in his hand in daze.

The words engraved on the paper, given his mixed feelings. He never thought about this possibility, after that day. He ignore her and vise versa.

But now he is standing outside her ward looking at the piece of paper and don't know what to do.

Yes! Riya is pregnant from one and a half month, it's exactly the time they got intimate in London.

But Karthik don't know what to do, Divya is nowhere to found and the piece of paper in his hand made his life mess in micro second.

He don't know what he'll do with this child. He have no right to ask her to keep it or abort it, it's going to be her decision but if she want to abort then he don't want to, it's his child and if she keep it, will he going to leave them?

'Ahh! it's so frustrating.'

Glancing at the door to the ward Karthik walked towards it and open it.

When he opened the door, he saw Riya squatting on the bed with her face buried in between her legs.

When Karthik came to the hospital with unconscious Riya, Dr give her some treatment before taking some samples of blood for examination, but before the reports came Riya wake up.

The middle-aged doctor glanced at Riya before bringing up her file.

"Miss, it says here that you have a fever, headache, nausea, and vomiting, and you also feel a little weak and moody, am I right?"

"Yes."

"When was the last time you saw your period?" The doctor asked with a kind gaze fixed on Riya

"It looks like you are pregnant, but we need to confirm it." The doctor said to her. Then turning to the nurse in the room, she said to her...

"Take her to get a pregnancy test done, then bring her back immediately after that."

"Yes, doctor." The nurse replied before asking Riya to follow her.

"Miss, come with me." The nurse said to Riya.

"Oh!" Riya replied with a nervous look on her face.

Riya was so tensed as she followed the nurse to the lab to get the pregnancy test done.
