Looking out the window you can see the drain pipes over flowing with water and cars getting stuck , we all remained on the bus until till the storm passed and the rain no longer fell. "Okay everyone we will have to switch buses and route the going south will arrive in 15 minutes" the bus driver yells .

"This some bullshit "Pooh screams as we exit the bus "and of course he would let us out here at the Hillside Projects" My little sister was not happy at all but we found shelter under the bus shed. Covering up the kids I noticed a black van driving by twice and stopping at the corner.

The driver turned and drove passed us again and reversed but this time the passenger raised down his window. "It's a little late to be out here with those kids" "Why are you out here ?" the driver asked while he was yet asking all these questions his friend jumps out of the passenger seat opens the side van door "Hi" he said" yall need a ride ?"

"NO " I yell " Yes 'my little fast ass sister yells handing this complete stranger my kids and jumping in the van.

"By the way my name is Rock and don't act like yo ass don't want no ride it's about to rain again."

"So you just go stand there?" The driver was just starring at me and I must admit I was lost in a daze when I laid my eyes on him. He was so dark and chocolate with the perfect smile he reminded me of Cain the character on Menace II Society. I could barely focus because I was too busy starring at his lips.

"Magic is what they call me" he said.

"Where are you headed ?"

"Why are you out in the rain with those kids"

"Where is your man?" "are yall hungry?"

"No we can eat when we get home " I replied

"Yes we hungry " Pooh says holding my daughter " mama I'm hungry too" Rock leans towards the front seat and then says" girl you know your ass is hungry too, stop trying to act like you are not then everybody started laughing, afterwards Rock turned to my daughter and asked her what she wanted to eat?" McDonalds " she replied. And McDonalds it was this was a long hot muggy summer night.

Before taking us home Magic went out of his way to make sure my sister and kids were good fed and safe out of rain so after dropping everyone else off he waited while I bathed and put my kids in bed . He was liking what he see and wanted to get to know me , he also stated that I have not answered none of his questions and wanted to know why?
