Chapter 47: Searching for the holy swords

"What did you say?"

Koneko asked the two girls in front of her in disbelief causing the two of them to repeat their words.

"Lucias won't be able to help you in this search of yours due to his busy schedule, so he sent both of us to assist you in your search"

A beautiful bispectacle woman with long silky brown hair wearing a revealing outfit that barely hid her slender body repeated causing Koneko to narrow her eyes.

u look at my Excalibur is scary. Do you perhaps hold a grudge against it? Well I don't know what happened to you! But if you get cut by this, you can't avoid being eliminated without a trace you know? You will die, you know! You are going to die! Just die!"

He screamed as he tried to slice his body as his sword glew from the release of its holy aura.

He said but was stopped as a powerful punch hit him from his side, launching him towards the house beside them.

"You became slower, Kiba"

Koneko commented before quickly making her way to Freed who was imbedded to the wall, punching him at his guts before pulling his head towards her knee.

"UGHH!!!"

Freed grunted in pain from her raw strength as he quickly slashed his sword towards Koneko to create some distance between them.

"THAT HURTS YOU SHITTY DEVIL!!"

He shouted while holding his broken nose causing Issei to shout in joy.

"Good job, Koneko!"

"Mn"

Koneko nodded her head before glancing at Kiba who pierced his sword to the ground.

"[Sword Birth]!"

He casted causing several swords to pierce through the ground as it made its way towards Freed who was wiping the blood off his nose.

"That is a good circus trick! You rotten Devil!"

He provoked with an excited grin on his fae, forgetting the pain that he felt from Koneko's attack as he quickly striked each of the sword coming towards him at great speed.

"... You're letting your emotions control you far too much, Kiba-san"

Enkidu advised as she watched him create several mistakes due to his anger.

"Shut up! You wouldn't understand!"

Enkidu remained silent, deciding to ignore his words as she continued to watch their fight with her usual gentle smile.

"My Excalibur is "Excalibur Rapidly"! In terms of velocity, it won't lose to anything!"

Freed said before rushing towards Kiba at incredible speed causing Koneko to raise her guard up to deflect his attack.

"DIE!"

He swung his word downwards towards Kiba, but before his sword was deflected by Koneko, the mana line on his foot quickly retracted, pulling him out of balance, causing him to crash to the ground.

"Like I would let you!"

Saji shouted before pouring his mana to his sacred gear, activating its hidden function as it slowly drained Freed from his power.

"Heh! How's that! This is my Sacred Gear "Absorption Line"! As long as this line is connected to you, your power will continue to be absorbed by my Sacred Gear! Yeah! Until you lose your consciousness that is!"

Saji stated with a confident smile on his face, not noticing Enkidu's dissapointed expression.

"I don't see the point of telling your opponents your abilities... Or maybe that's the norm in this day and age"

She contemplated while holding her chin.

"Enkidu-san, can you help us!?"

"I cannot Issei-san, I was only tasked to aid you once the situation becomes dangerous"

Enkidu rejected before glancing at Freed who was trying to cut off the mana line on his foot.

"…Dragon-type Sacred Gear is it!? The most troublesome type. The initial ability isn't that much of a threat. But when it grows, the destructible power surpasses other Sacred Gears on a whole different level. Scary. Man, it is such a nuisance!"

Freed muttered while smacking his sword at the mana line on his foot, causing Issei to look at Saji in surprise.

"Kiba! Koneko! It's not the time to be complaining! Just beat that guy! The problem with the Excalibur can come after that! This guy is seriously dangerous! Just standing in front of him makes me tremble! If we leave him be, he will also cause harm to me and Kaichou! He shouted causing both Kiba and Koneko to nod their heads in response.

Another voice echoed from behind causing all of them except Enkidu to look at the source of the voice.

"…Is it you old-man Valper?"

Freed asked causing Issei and Saji to look at him in shock from hearing his name.

"…Valper Galilei!"
