Chapter 12: New Base

"hmm... It is really risky to do... but I think it's better than facing all of the Old Deus in this dimension head on"

Azazel says while looking at the piece of paper presented by Lucias containing the exact location of the Star Cup.

"Are you serious about this Lucias?" (Lucifer)

"Yeah, right now we don't stand a chance with the 4 of them combined since we only have the two of you that can match them. We have individual strength, but strength alone can be overpowered by numbers" (Lucias)

"But if we fail to do this, we will risk killing everyone in this planet including us" (Lucifer)

"That's where you're wrong, as you said before I already completed the quest" (Lucias)

"Hmm... So you're planning to use the gate as a means of escape?" (Azazel)

"Yes, the gate has no limit to how many can pass it, we can use it to transfer the humans in this world to ours if something goes wrong" (Lucias)

"Well... We're going to commit massive genocide, but... considering what they've done, I guess it's alright" (Lucifer)

"So how are we going to do this?" (Azazel)

"First we need to find an attack powerful enough to create a massive hole deep enough to reach the planet's core but not destroy it. If we can't be the strongest existence in this planet, all we need to do is force it to reveal itself" (Lucias)

Lucias explained while Schwi was using [collective minds] to transfer the data that she have gathered while being with Lucias to her cluster.

"... The only type of magic that I have that could do such feat is [Annihilation Magic] but that alone can't completely dig that deep... Maybe it's possible if I combine my magic with the Azazel. It may be possible"

Lucifer pondered while skimming through all the types of magic and spells contained in her arsenal.

"That is ridiculously dangerous to do, Lucifer. Do you even remember what happens when we tried to mix them before?" (Azazel)

"What happens when you mix them, Azazel?"

Lucias asked in curiosity while looking at the two of them.

"According to what we found a few million years ago. If we mix two extremely opposing type of magic, it goes out of control due to the two types of mana trying to overpower the other, even we who reach the peak of holy and demonic Magic wasn't able to control it at all. It's doesn't cause an explosion but it disintegrates everything close to it within a 50 meter radius, and will continue to do so until both of our mana runs out since we can't really cut it from our mana circuit because the two spells will continue to consume our mana until one of them overpowers the other, if we did forcefully cut off our connection it will result in permanent damage to our mana circuits" (Azazel)

"Also, if we do that stunt again, our mana will scatter around us in high concentrations and will attract those Old Deus to our location... If we're going to do this stunt, we need something to ward off the other races from attacking us or for taking the cup for themselves" (Azazel)

"I already got that covered"

Lucias smiled at the two of them as a large amount of Ex-Machinas appeared behind his back.

"Schwi was able to completely defect them to our side"

Schwi whispered as she ripped off the robe covering her body, revealing her mechanical body at Azazel and Lucifer.

"As long it isn't a Flügel or an Old Deus, we can easily ward off the other races"

"You... are just full of surprises, Lucias"

Lucifer says with a sigh as a large grin formed on her face.

"But before that... We need to set up our stage" 

Lucias placed a stack of paper in front of them as he explained the first steps of his plan.

"In a war, the most lethal weapons are not the army's strength nor their weapons, but information, since with information you can turn any misfortune or threats to your favour" (Lucias)

"To ensure that we don't get cornered by the other races... We need to make them attack each other. We will reveal information about any powerful weapons or magic that the other races have to their enemies, to make them desperate to destroy each other's trump cards or flee, this will place their attention somewhere else while we try to retrieve the Star Cup" (Lucias)

"... Do you think they'll believe our information, Lucias?" (Azazel)

"They'll believe it, Azazel. Especially when it involves their race's survival. The minds of the beings in this dimension revolves around using all available information efficiently to ensure their victory and survival. They will definitely check whether it is real or not by themselves... but if it doesn't work, all we need to do is reveal information about them to make them believe the possibility of us having information about the other races" (Lucias)

"I never thought of that"

Azazel says while writing on her notepad while Lucifer crossed her arms, looking directly as his sharp golden eyes.

"So... When do we start?" (Lucifer)

"Right now"

Lucias smiled while taking out a large stack of papers containing a copy of the information written on the pieces of paper he gave to Azazel and Lucifer.

"If they attack you without regards... Show them what were made of" (Lucias)

-with Great Red and Ophis-

"Baka-red, don't destroy, the entire, dimension" (Ophis)

"Tch... Do I look like a dragon that just destroy everything because she wants to?" (Great Red)

"Yes" (Ophis)

"... You're right" (Great Red)

Great Red smirked as she charged at Acnologia with great speed.

"Entertainment me, cocky bastard"

She said with an excited smile as she covered her fist with crimson mana, throwing a powerful  punch at Acnologia's abdomen.

"Damn your skin's soft"

Great Red muttered in disappointment as her fist sunk into his body creating a large dent on his abdomen, launching him backwards at great speed due to the great amount of force contained in her fist.

"I guess expectations are meant to be broken"

She sighed before disappearing from her place and appearing behind Acnologia, kicking his large body upwards before teleporting above him, performing an axe kick on his back causing him to crash at the ground at full force.

"I expected more from you"

She said as she concentrated her crimson mana on her hand before launching a large beam of crimson energy at Acnologia. 

"Dragon King's Roar!!"

Acnologia bent his back and opened his mouth, blasting a large bright blue beam to counter Great Red's Attack, but outside of his expectations, her beam greatly overpowered his as it quickly devoured his entire body, slowly melting his flesh as he struggled to keep himself alive by regenerating his body.

"ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"

He screamed in pain as he tried to move away from the beam's range but the great pressure and power brought by the beam pinned him at his spot as the ground below him slowly disintegrated, burying him deep inside the ground.

"Hehh... No one else can survive that attack except Trihexa, I guess you're not as worthless as I thought you were"

She praised while blasting the heads of the western dragons attacking her with her other hand.

"Ophis, you meant what you said earlier, right?"

She nonchalantly asked Ophis who was launching several blades of purple mana towards the western dragons around her, easily slicing them into pieces.

"Yes"

She answered while blasting a large hole on one of the dragon's stomach.

"... Did you tell him my original sex?"

"... I don't, know"

"What..."

"I don't, remember telling, him about, it... I forgot"

"You!!! You promised me!"

"I don't, remember, so stop being, so noisy, Baka-red"

Ophis says in irritation before creating a large violet shield to block the attacks of the dragons above her.

"I want, to go home"

She muttered as she blast a ball of mana towards them, creating a large explosion as soon as it made contact with one of the dragons flying above her.

"You done? This guy is so weak..."

Great Red shouted while pointing at the large hole on the ground.

"I don't, care"

She answered in annoyance before killing the last dragon struggling on the ground from losing his limbs.

"Done" (Ophis)

She says with a proud expression on her face before teleporting towards the prison where Asia and the others were staying at.

"... How can you ignore your benefactor"

Great Red muttered before following Ophis towards the ruined prison.

Timeskip

"Finally we're back"

Lily stretched out her arm while sniffing the familiar scent coming from the garden outside the castle.

"... Wait"

Lily muttered as she quickly looked around her surroundings. The castle from before was still there but unlike before, the castle was surrounded by several houses and establishments, surprising both her and Asia.

Ah... You must be Asia-san, right?"

A pink haired woman with a heart shaped tail asked them with a kind smile.

"Yes, where are we?"

She asked confused by the sudden swarm of people with diamond shape tails, surrounding them with a curious expression on their faces.

"I'm Momo Belial Deviluke, it's a pleasure to finally meet the rumoured Asia. I was sent here by Lucias to explain the current situation of the headquarters to you once you've finished your quest"

"Lucias? His here?!"

Asia asked excitedly as her heart pounded from excitement from the though of finally seeing the love of her life after a few months without seeing him.

"Uh... How do I explain this... Lucias is not here at the moment since he said he still have a few things to do in another dimension"

"... Is that... so" (Asia)

"Please don't be sad, Asia-san he will come back shortly"

Momo hurriedly tried to comfort her with a panicked expression as 2 girls with the same pink hair as her hurriedly walked towards them.

"You must be, Asia!"

Lala excitedly hugged her tightly in his embrace while Nana tried to peel her off of Asia.

"You're scaring her, Ane-eu!"

"I-it's ok? But who are you two?"

Asia asked with a puzzled expression as she struggled to remove her face between Lala's breast.

"You can call me Lala!"

She answered excitedly as she let Asia go from her embrace.

"I-I'm Nana Aster Deviluke"

Nana nervously answered while pulling Lala away from her. 

"Ano... Are you girls new members that Lucias recruited?" (Asia)

"Members? No we're his fia-" (Lala)

"Yes, yes we're the new members!! Nana can you take Onee-sama back inside the castle!"

Momo immediately covered her sister's mouth with a pale face before shouting towards Nana who had a panicked expression written on her face as she immediately pulled her sister away inside the castle.

'We need to keep an eye on onee-sama until Lucias comes back' 

She thought while nervously gripping her skirt from nervousness.

" Um... Can you tell us what happened to our home?"

Lily asked her while pulling her shirt, waking her up from her thoughts as she tried to quickly fix the expression on her face before facing them.

"Ahem... please follow me inside"

Momo says 'calmly' as she walked inside the castle, signalling for them to follow her inside.

"Before Lucias left he bought this place due to the large amount of new members that joined the faction because the space from the flying castle before was not enough to shelter the new members" (Momo)

"This place contains 100 floors in total, and only 5 of those floors are occupied by the new members. Specifically floor 94 - 95 are occupied" (Momo)

"I will guide you around the entire first floor, the floor containing the main headquarters of the faction" (Momo)

"W-wait, you're giving us too much information"

Lily said while holding her head, trying to digest the information given to them by the pink haired girl in front of them.

"Take your time and..."

She stopped before turning her head towards them with a welcoming smile before continuing her words.

"...Welcome to 'Aincrad' the new base of the faction"
