Dagen

Years passed, and i have grown a lot, seems like i am going to be 13 years old now, Edward has taught me a lot though our travels.

''Haru'' Edward said and i looked up at him, he looked serious, we sat next to the bonfire.

''There's nothing i can teach you more'' I raised my eyebrow ''I have taught you everything now'' He said ''but i haven't reach your rank?'' He smirked.

''There's no need, i pretty sure that you already have reached your master rank as swordsmanship ''But i can't fight like you'' Edward smiles ''there's no need to fight like me,you have to fight like you'' his word haven't reach my mind, even tho i did understand him a little, he wanted me to fight in my own style

''A warrior have to find his own way of fighting'' he said, i nodded and then squeezed my hand ''Then let's fight'' I said, he looked surprised ''you said by yourself, i have reached my goal now, then i want to fight you, i want to see by myself how much i have approved'' I said. he smiled ''Sure but not now, let's wait until tomorrow morning'' he said ''I'll be waiting then'' I smiled.

As the sun slowly comes out from the ground, the wind touches the trees and birds fly by. Edward was already awake began to do some stretched ''Well Haru, it's time to wake up'' i was tired, i fell asleep late, i was too excited for today ''Not now..let me sleep'' He titled his head ''Didn't you want a fight?'' He said, I moved to the other side ''I do..just..not now''I mumble.

He began to kick me on the stomach ''ouch! what did you do that for?!!'' i said to him ''nothing'' he smiled, i pouted ''allight, i'll wake up now'' as i slowly got up. ''Better ready your weapon then'' as he slowly drew his sword ''But what about breakfast?'' i said ''A warrior should always be ready!'' he said, i smiled and took my weapon out from the ground ''Let's go then''

it went silent for a few minutes, we both looked into each other's eyes.as i know my master well, he always waited for the right moment, but we can't both just wait for each other? I decided to do my part, as i quickly moved towards him with my sword, i quickly swing my sword towards him, he smiled and our sword touches each other, as we paired i quickly backing off and decided to swing my sword towards him, he dodged as well ''Earth swing!'' he said as he made a big slash with his sword ''Agility!'' i said quickly and dodged it immediately as i jumped from his big slash and decided to attack him with my magic ''Ice spike!'' he smiled again ''Agility!'' he said and quickly dodge it as well ''Ice wall!'' I said quickly and made a perfect line of ice wall towards him, he quickly dodge that as well.

Master sure are strong, but I can do it too! i ran towards him with my sword after i did my spell, he quickly noticed it and dodge my swing with his sword. as our sword touches each other in some secs, Edward smiles and stopped ''see you good'' he said and drew his sword back ''huh?'' i was surprised, i didn't do a lot was ,my thought ''But Edward, i haven't go all in now'' He grin ''You were amazing, you knew exactly what to do'' I didn't understand him ''You are ready'' he said as he patted my head. "But I am not amazing like you" I mumbled, he began to laugh and then patted my head again "of course not! But you can be amazing just like you" I titled my head "there's no need to be like me, you have to know your way" he said while looking up at the sky "that was what my master told me" my eyes began to spark, he was right, I have to fight in my own way and not like others! "You're right" I said and he smiled.

days passed.. and we finally reached the city, which is called Dagen. It's amazing that it took years to come here.. or maybe it is because we stayed a lot in all kinds of different villages or is it because Edward trained me that we came here so late? I looked up at Edward. He was looking at the sky, smiling, wondering what he was thinking about.

I began to look at myself then at him again, then began to grin. Edward heard me and looked at me "what's that smirk for? He asked, then I began to make the height different.

"I think I am going to be much higher than you when I grow older! Just look at my height now!" I grinned "I'm almost at your shoulder height!"

He sighed then patted my head "I think you'll be stuck at this height forever!" Then laughed.

He looked at me once again "Come here and turn around " I did what he told me to do

"your hair is going to be long again.. it's amazing how much quickly it grows." As he said while taking off his knife and began cutting my hair. Is there something wrong with having long hair? I thought "oh I didn't realize it grew" I answered

"you have to learn by yourself now how to cut your own hair, you're old enough now" he said and was finished. "Yeah " I began to think.

It's been years now, and my memories of my old life are still within me, will I ever forget it? I don't think so. "Let's go " Edward said and started walking and I nodded.

We came inside the city and Edward showed me around. The city was very big. Maybe like kyoto? Or less? He gave me a lot of threats at the market, the market was very big for them, it's almost like the street food at kyoto and in Tokyo just much bigger. But I don't complain, I like sweets and food. But please Edward not that much I can't bite all of this!.

He showed me merchants, blacksmiths and also the alchemist, and told me it is very important to upgrade my gear and such things, he also showed me the park, which was large and very big, he told me this is also important if you want to get a tour with the ladies, I just laughed it off.

Then he pointed at the castle which was where their King and queen lived. We couldn't come inside because they were busy with something. Then lastly we came to an odd looking building.

"This is where I went to study," he said. What did he go to school? Wait, there is a school system here? Was my thought

"oh.." was my only answer "soon they are going to have test exams " I looked at him "you have to pass to enter this academy " he said, I tilted my head i didn't know what he meant by that "I want you to take that exam" he said, it went quiet then it jumped, he really meant it?! "Eehh!?"

We went to the Arena, where they took the exams. I can see people my age down there "Shouldn't I be there?" I asked and he shook "not now" he said and walked "wait a moment i have to speak with someone, until then watch!" He said and I nodded and I looked down, watching them.

They did some kind of introduction, a nation speak? Then they walk in separate groups of gender and beg!n singing. Their nation song perhaps? A few minutes passed with that song and they all began to walk away, then the principal came by and began to say

"Today is our 340 year in this academy!" He Smiles, oh the school systems aren't that new? But not that old? Only 340 years? We have had it since 1800? 1900? "And I can feel this year is going to be much more amazing than last year " he continues "but enough talking, let the exam start!" And everyone began screaming and I looked around. The exam must be amazing?

Suddenly only one kid came out of the door into the arena, I looked closer. Then some humans with armor came out. One against two eh? The clock began to ring and the exam started and they began to fight! Some hours went by, only 18 had passed then the rest 20 didn't pass. My body began to shiver. Is this the exam? This is scary! Was my thought.

"So you thought?" Edward suddenly appears and it makes me jump. "Oh it looks very difficult " I said and he nodded "the exam has been difficult each year" he said. Every year?! "Wow no wonder there are so many people" I said "but do not worry soon it is your turn, I made an appointment!" He smiles. You did what?!

More hours went by, and it was my turn. I came down the stairs and into the arena, I shivered. So many people. I had a feeling they were directly looking at me! Maybe because I wasn't with the group before?

"Hmm and who's there?" Said the principal, it made me jump "I'm Haru!" He titled "No last name?" I shook "no last name" I repeated, then suddenly he began to laugh. What's funny?

"So it's like that?" He Said and began to jump down into the arena, what wat? What's happening? Why did he do that?! He began to take off his clothes and he wore one sided chest armor and was very muscular "Let the exam start!" He yelled as they bell rang at the same time and he ran immediately at me. 

What? Whaat? Is he fighting me? But what about the others? Why do I have to fight him!?
