"Why did it call your name?" Illarion Snowe turned to Mattheus and asked with furrowed brows.
Mattheus gestured out into the waters that started to churn, multiple tentacles breaching the waters. "That was the priest," the twenty-one-year-old only said.
Icy-blue eyes widened in a rare show of shock.
Before anything else could be said, the ship buckled.
A beat later, they were tossed straight into the air. Everything that wasn't tied down flew. The soldiers had seemed to be prepared for rough waters though, so they only lost two people who were unluckily knocked by a loose crate of supplies that had been left out.
