Club Activities

After running away from Kiriyama I made my way back to the classroom, I don't really care about her relationship so I refused politely, she accepted it pretty well surprisingly

"why are your cheeks so red?I think I heard something..."

it was Makoto,he's concerned about the slap mark on my cheek, he's really a good friend I am glad

Fortunately, even though it did put a mark it didn't hurt at all, my defense really drained the damage, more importantly I wanted to ask about the girl he was talking to a while ago, but asking out of nowhere isn't a good choice if you don't want to be a disgusting Creep.

"Oh, Aru you're free today right?come with me after school"

I answered without putting much thought

"isn't it harsh to assume that I have nothing to do after school?"

"you do?"

"....I don't,but it's not about whenever I have something to do! it's about your attitude!"

I let out a big sigh before asking more questions about what are we doing

in the third floor of the old building, two boys and a girl are standing before the door of the "literature club"

apparently the girl he was speaking to this morning is the leader of the soon to be disbanded literature club so she wanted some more people to keep it alive,

and for Kiriyama she continued stalking us until she found a chance to fake a coincidence, I can't imagine her reading a book no matter how hard I tried to.

"are you thinking about something rude?"

she whispered it colse to my ears, she even made sure that Makoto can't her that...scary! girls are so scary! I want to go home

No! you're a hero Aru! I can't back down I have to make myself look cool!

"what if I was?"

she can't hit me because Makoto is here, and I can dodge If I really want to show off

"well, I guess you're not wrong for thinking about me this way"

I now feel bad! is it my loss no matter what decision I chose? then why make me have a decision!

"when did you two get close to each other?"

"we're not"

we both said it in the same time, there's no way he would believe us now!

After giving us a smile Makoto opened the door, the first thing you can see is a girl with short hair bowing 90 degrees, she's having an application letter in her trembling hands, why is she so desperate? I couldn't understand

in the room there's a big table in the center with two chairs one is empty and the otherr is taken by a beautiful senior readinga book, purple eyes and hair, she definitely have a cold aura around her, my first reaction was to stare at her unaware that I was being rude

I guess the same happened to Makoto because I can definitely see Kiriyama getting angry.

"ah thank you fot the invitation Suzuki-san, no need to be so nervous"

Makoto was the first to recover after getting pinched, Suzuki raised her head with a big smile, that kind of innocence is a great weapon if she's interested in Makoto.

the smile didn't last for long though because she quickly noticed that there's more people than she expected

"A-ah welcome to the club!"

she's really trying her hardest to make it work,while Makoto is trying to calm her down I was thinking about the other girl in the room, why isn't she reacting at all? and why is suzuki-san the leader even though there's someone older than her

"My n-name is Suzuki Haru I'm glad to meet you, and I..I wish you would join the club"

then after Suzuki-san finished her introduction the senior stood up and introduced her to us

"My name is Hiragi Hikari"

she doesn't seem to be the type to talk much, well I guess that better than another Kiriyama

after Makoto finished writing his information on the paper he passed it to Kiriyama, but before she could take it he stopped and asked

"weren't you going to join the track team?"

I didn't see that coming, but now when I focus she really seems to be athletic, at least mote than the other two girls in the room, and honestly she seems far better than Makoto too.

"Eh, don't worry I can join both!"

I don't think that's possible, she probably know but still trying to struggle until she fail completely, I kind of respect this aspect of her.

"No, It's strictly implied that a student can't engage in the activity of more than a single club, and we don't need any ghost members"

senpai could've said it better but still what she's saying is a fact, Kiriyama should give up the track team for now, it wouldn't be awkward because she's yet to apply

"Well...I guess I can't join the literature club after all...that's fine ."

she seemed to be so sad that I couldn't see the reason, why is she giving up her chance to be with her crush? is she really serious about sports?

"well the club need two more people o be accepted right?"

"Two? as I see in the paper we already have 5 members"

Oh? didn't know they only needed Makoto to fill the gap, fortunately I'm free to go now...just to feed my curiosity I will check the names registered

I screamed hard when I found myself in the club without my consent,I know for sure that it may seem rude but I have to make a clear decision now!

when I tried to open my mouth, I saw a huge smile on Suzuki-san's face,she hugged her book with a blush mumbling

"I'm glad I did make it hehehe"

....

"please take care of me"

I just gave up my human rights, but this smile uis something that should be protected from the evil of this world

I checked my phone to see a notification I got

[New title acquired]

[member of the literature club]

I sighed, I don't have enough energy to check its description.and just like that started my club activities.
