Kaito listen to what the person said as his hands trembled a little. He looks like some just dropped a bomb on him telling him that his one and only remaining family is dead. Just the word 'danger' made his tremble. He doesn't even want to hear or see what is happening because he knows that it will somehow hurt him. He mustered the courage even though his heart is being cut by a sharp knife as he said with a stutter " W-who is b-behind all of this?"

He prepare for the worst news when he ordered his shadow guards to investigate what happened for past few months when he was gone but the word 'danger' triggered the the daggers that he suppressed to stab him in the heart nonstop.

The person on the other side of the line couldn't help but feel a sting of pain in his heart when he heard the voice of his boss. He knows that this news is breaking him down little by little. He was a bit hesitant to tell his boss this news when he found out about it but he knows that he will kill him if he didn't tell him. He knows that his boss and Mr. Mu Feng are really close and he knows how his boss cares about him.

"I don't know boss but he is extremely dangerous"

"Alright, I will come outside in a minute. Come and pick me up and hurry!"

"Yes boss"

Kaito began walking away. He saw Mu Feng walking to the cafeteria, he went to him and stopped him in his tracks " Um... Feng'er can you please drop me outside of school. I promise you will just have to drop me, something came up and I'm needed there" Kaito looks at him apologetically because he cause him to miss lunch.

Mu Feng looks at him puzzled 'Feng'er... He usually calls me this name when he is sad. What's wrong with him?' Mu feng said inwardly before he looks at Kaito and said a bit anxiously " What's wrong with you? What's going on?"

"I just need to do something" Seeing that he was unwilling to tell him, Mu Feng let it go. He didn't want to force him.

"Okay. I'll give you a ride"

"Thanks"

They went to the parking lot and entered the car and drove off.

The car was silent but the atmosphere isn't awkward at all it's just gloomy. Nobody said anything because of the gloomy atmosphere. Mu Feng was looking at Kaito from the corner of his eyes as he watched the usual cheerful guy turned into the ice King.

His aura was extremely cold and terrifying but he was oozing out a gloomy aura at the same time, that he couldn't help but wonder, just what is bugging him but he knew it was not the right time to talk about it.

After dropping Kaito off. They said goodbye to each other before Mu Feng head back to school. Kaito walks a little before he heard the sound of a helicopter landing somewhere not far from where he is. He walks there and the shadow guards saluted him and he nods before he entered the helicopter. He closed the door and put on the headphones as he asked when the helicopter was off the ground and into the air.

"Speak!" Kaito's voice what even more terrifying than his aura and it was suffocating the shadow guards. One of the shadow guards swallowed a mouthful of his saliva before he said, trying not to shudder. " We haven't heard from the shadow guards, that were protecting the Young master. So we tracked them down using the GPS chip that was installed in their fingers and we found them in the forest. We searched the whole forest and we saw all of them dead with other men. They look like assassins but they're not normal assassins if they can kill our shadow guards. We found no traces of the person behind all of this but we found a tattoo on their necks and it's a purple dragon" When Kaito heard him he frowned. The purple dragons are not quacks that will accept just any mission but for someone to actually hire them means that, that person is dangerous and powerful. His mind started drawing his first list of suspects and the first people that pops up in his mind are his annoying step siblings and their mother but he will not kill them just yet. He will have to make sure to get rid of the root of the problem first and that is the powerful backer that helps them in the shadows.

"Boss where here!" The shadow guard said when he saw Kaito lost in his thoughts. Kaito got out of the helicopter and noticed his shadow guards everywhere and some scientists investigating.

He walks up to one of the scientists, Mr. Fox and asked "What have you find so far?"

"Sir we found out that Young master Mu was attacked at this forest and... He was injured pretty badly. We found this ring inside the forest and the place where the ring was, it was full of dry blood. We checked this ring and it does belong to Young Master Mu. The ring was bloody when we found it and the blood on it matches Young Master Mu's DNA" Mr. Fox said in a calm manner because he was used to this.

Kaito's eyes turned bloodshot. He wanted to shed blood but he has to control himself so that he can solve this problem. He has to find out who that M*therf*cking person is.
