Why?

A few weeks later… Zaos was in his office while looking at the special glove that he made to seal Milliendra's power. Over the years, he improved it considerably. Still, despite that, now the glove could only work for a single hour… an accident was bound to happen that way. Unfortunately, he didn't find any way to stop the curse of the demon god for good.

Zaos looked through the window of his office and saw Milliendra playing with the other kids while wearing a replica of the magic glove. She had become big enough to even learn how to protect herself, so she had some lessons from Kat now and then. Milliendra really looked like her mother when she was young. Thanks to Zaos' mercenaries, any rumor about her quickly died before reaching the port towns. Still… that wasn't enough.

"Shit… eight years, and I didn't stop this damn curse," Zaos muttered.
