Zakai woke up in a hospital ward surrounded by nurses

"He's awake, it seems." The head nurse walked out of the crowd of nurses "You're expected to go after you've recovered."

"Is....captain fugeleon alive?" Zakai asked, looking at the silent nurse

"Barely, but we got lucky," She said, her eyes falling upon me "Your little stunt would have got him trapped in whatever place he was in if you killed the spatial mage"

The nurse went into a draw and picked out a grimoire, not belonging to Zakai

"I was instructed to give you this as a gift from the wizard king." The nurse said, before scolding me "Don't be using it for evil things!"

it was a simple grimoire that belonged to the man he was battling before

"Soul corpse magic," Zakai muttered, pushing it to the grimoire that was lying asleep in his soul

sensing the book, the grimoire awoke and said "You...fa...il..e.d....t..o..."

"Shut up, I tried my best." Zakai threw the book across the room, scaring the nurses "By all the times I was near Fugeleon you didn't tell me that it was in the necklace. You're the one who failed here, not me."

Zakai calmed down, before thinking of the half-dead fugeleon that splatter on the floor

his wounds seemed to heal, as the cuts were gone as if they were never there

the grimoire absorbed the book and gained 2 new magic spell

Zakai was sure the book would be useful

"The demon's pity" seemed to make the souls he take completely wiped of memories and emotion, making it so that the person who is made into something doesn't feel eternal pain.

"That means that those things had feelings," Zakai muttered, before wiping the thought out of his head

Soul abductor was the power to take a soul out of a dead person body and use it however the user wishes. for that fucked up guy, he took pleasure in making it a toy that used the previous owner's soul's magic

Zakai didn't wish to do that, however, as he thought of possible uses

"A weapon maybe?" Zakai thought, before coming to a thought "Revival?"

what happens if he puts a soul into a pre-made body? would they have the same memories, the same emotions, or would they become corrupted?

Zakai looked towards the "Swamp magic" Which was a result of rock magic fusing with the muddy water magic

it wasn't anything too interesting, but it could be useful in an attempt to flee

breathing in, Zakai thanked the nurses before leaving the building

"A month of free time." Zakai thought

he didn't know how to spend it, but going back to his house seemed boring

So, he went back to the crimson lion courtyard to go to a butler that knows enchanting magic

he had an idea and was wondering if it would work

Engrave just let did what it said, but the demon's rune array made it so he could create an array, he didn't know what but it sounds ominous

"Why is everything demon?" Before going to a guild and getting a simple task to exterminate some weak bandits from some random ass hill, Zakai said.

teleporting to the bandit hill, Zakai walked in while whistling. he wasn't afraid of some weak enemies

"Enemy attack" The bandits screamed, rushing up to Zakai

"One, two, three, four," Zakai said as he used his mana enchanted fist to shoot holes in their chest

what greeted him was a lot of bodies that had experimental use

going to the leader, who had some kind of copper magic , Zakai chanted

"[Soul corpse magic: Soul abductor]"

A red soul floated out of the bandit leaders body

Zakai touched the soul and watched it stick to his hand, before shaking it off and watching it float in the air

"Get....in...there..." Zakai said, trying to press the soul into the sword but the soul felt as if it was refusing to go in there

"[Soul corpse magic: Demon pity]"

red energy bust out of the grimoire and consumed the soul, before spitting it back out again

"Now let's try it," Zakai said, sticking the soul into the sword, watching as it was absorbed by the soul

"User can't put it into an object unless wiped, which may be why the person before me had to put them in dolls." Zakai wrote in the note, before getting an enchanting knife and chanting

"[Enchanting magic: Demon's runic array]"

Zakai felt his hands moved on his own as intricate patterns were engraved into the sword, himself not knowing what it was

but one thing was for sure, the mana consumption nearly drained his of his mana

when the sword was done, every inch of the blade was covered in the same language that the grimoires had, which wasn't the same as the usual engravement

next, he needed to put a drop of his blood onto it, before doing some complex hand signs

"[Sychronize]!"

the sword was enveloped in a cocoon of demonic energy, as Zakai watched it absorb the souls from the people around it

"Wait!"

the blood and souls of the bandits were consumed, and so were the magic power of those around him

the cocoon opened, revealing a swor- , an egg?

"What is that?" Zakai muttered, watching as the egg kept absorbing the mana and blood of those bodies, becoming bigger and bigger

when the mana was gone, it shrunk once more and started hatching

"What the fuck..." Zakai muttered , he isnt an expert in swords, but he understood that swords don't lay eggs

the egg fully hatched, revealing a Small wolf cub

"Grimoire, explain what the fuck just went on."

the mark on his back suddenly glowed

"Ara~ Ara~" The dryad said, "A man-made spirit, how interesting!"

the wolf cub looked around, before looking at me, jumping on me and licking my face

"Hold on!" Zakai was knocked to the ground, feeling the tongue of the wolf tickle him

"Dryad, should I be worried about this wolf?"

The voice giggled "Of course not! he will grow to be your greatest ally!"

the wolf stopped licking him, before sitting down and touching Zakai's grimoire, getting absorbed before coming out again

They had black fur, with outlines of white near his neck. his ears were a crimson red with grey inside of them. on his snoot, he had 2 white lines near his nose, which was black. underneath his surprisingly bright eyes, were a stripe of crimson red that span from under his eye to near the white lines near his nose. his paws were red, and the rest of his body, including legs and torso, was all black

the pup seems like it could teleport inside and outside of his grimoire, making it a part of me

"What did I do." Zakai gave a facepalm, before giving belly stretched to the pup that had rolled over

"Dryad, what are you?"

the giggling came back again "Im a spirit, much like that dog over there." The voice suddenly became prideful "Im the guardian of the elf race, and I'm a spirit of nature and mana."

"Another spirit said I'm a 3-way hybrid?" Zakai asked, "What does that mean?"

"It means you're a mixture of 3 different species." The dryad

"Which ones?"

The dryad was silent.

"You are a mixture of an elf, a spirit, and a human."
