the man disappeared before he could take the shot, leading Zalak to move closer to the man's former position, and look at what was going on

he drew his bow once more, ready to shoot when a loud and annoying boy suddenly ran into a wall in front of him

"Asta," Zalak muttered, watching as the boy was humiliated by the chains of the man

"A boy like you with no magic will be a lot on the black market." The man gave a grin "You should let me do it, you should thank me for it! after all, you're not going to be able to find a job, never mind become the magicking."

Seeing a familiar red Aura near Asta, the Grimoire near his body started to shake, signalling to escape

An Arrow is all he needs

Knocking the bow up to the bowstring, he Applied all the magical power to the Magically receptive Arrow and muttered

"I hate people like you." Zalak coldly muttered

An arrow flew down from the air, its speed faster than the naked eye could see

Feeling an imminent threat behind him, the Magic knight suddenly tried to use his Chains to block the incoming arrow, but the Arrow easily pierced through the head of the magic knight

Feeling the arrow kill the target, Zalak clenched his fist, causing the Arrow to implode and leave no trace

although wind magic is Yuno's forte, he shouldn't be able to know its wind magic due to lack of magical power due to the Chains sealing it and the near Collapse state

a Small red book was near Asta, causing Zalak to quickly run away via the Agility bonus of Wind magic

after running successfully away, he blended in with the crowd and clicked his tongue

"I couldn't get his Grimoire, what a shame."

after a 24 minute walk, he arrived back at his cabin and collapsed, thinking about the tiring event of today

"I have to set out tomorrow for the Captial"

Although being lazy is not in his nature, having to go a long distance that is a one month trip sounds boring to him

"Flight!" although magic brooms exist, their way weaker than actual flight magic, with flight magic being god knows how much better than a magic broom

controlling a single piece of paper and putting in as much mana as he could, he watched as the Peice was extremely sharp as he turned it into a shuriken

going into the forest and throwing it, he watched as it cut down 3 large trees before stopping

although he put a lot of mana into it, it was a singular piece of paper anymore

flying with it, he checked the speed of flight with it

"40 mph max speed."

not bad, since the limit for a broom is 15 mph. this should make the flight to the Captial a lot easier

The Clover Kingdom is border by the 3 kingdoms, Heart kingdom, diamond kingdom and spade kingdom border the clover kingdom

Clover kingdoms are ranked by the 3 "Realms" that span from poorest to richest. the list is as follows. the Forsaken realm, the realm he lives in, the Common realm, where the commoners live and then finally the Noble realm, which is situated outside of the Grand capital of the kindgom.

3 Main houses rule the Clover Kingdom, being The Vermillon, the Silva and Kira family, Kira family are the royal family, but they're nothing compared to the magicking, Julius Novachrono, a wielder of time magic

the only reason Kira is in power is due to the fact their descendants of the first magic king even though there subjectively weak and arrogant

after thinking about his gameplan, he decided to go to the Captial with the money he had and buy a new bow, his old one worn down and becoming to snap due to the pressure of the magic getting stronger

he had 504,000 yul saved up from countless hunting sessions over the 9 years, which should be able to get him a bow countless times better than the one he got

and as such , he fell asleep

Waking up to hear a knock on the door, he saw the Steward and the former fat noble at his door.

"Good morning," Zalak said, looking towards both of them

"Good morning." The steward bowed. the old man decided to stay with the noble even after he was kicked out. how respectable

"A gift." The steward said, handing over a bow "we heard that you're going to the royal capital to Magic knight ceremony and we are here to give you a gift." He handed a wrapped object to me "You see, when the young master was kicked out, his mother let pick something out of the treasury, of which he chose a bow." He said, watching as Zalak slowly unwrapped it, revealing a sleek longbow "Young master enchanted it with his engraving Magic and it can amplify magic."

"Why are you giving this to me?"

The former noble slowly said, "Think of it as an apology for nearly slapping you that day." He said, "Plus you donated a boar and some rabbits during winter 3 years ago, helping us get through."

After some idle chatting and saying thanks, he got to look at his new toy, a sleek bow that was obviously made for water users, it was incredibly long. the naked eye could see the countless rows of Complex Engravements on the front and back, causing it to shine in a Myriad of different colours every minute

seeing the book in his soul act up, he said

"you can consume it if it makes at least a page of new magic. will it create new magic?"

The book shook once

"For somebody that apparently is asleep all the time, your shaking doesn't sound like your sleeping."

the book was silent

summoning the book, he watched as it absorbed the Bow

the pages started to flip frantically, causing a suction to be produced by the book , swallowing it whole

looking at the now still book , he opened the book and looked at its changes
