Both of Hitomi's eyes seemed bright red, so by the time I finished realising, all the heroes had retreated to keep their distance before taking turns to send attacks back. The redhead combed the air as she slashed her sword, which Hitomi could dodge narrowly through her hair.

I said to Valerie, "We should help too."

"Um."

She nodded before running away, and I ran forward to help Hitomi, five of them preventing me by sending their magic. The fire skill was the magic they often used; as smoke billowed into the air, they sprung up around me and alternately sent out their best attacks.

Clang!

My sword produced a loud clang whenever it collided with the enemy's weapon. Unlike me, Hitomi had killed many people using her sword. She looked different.

"Where are you looking?" said the enemy in front of me.
