Chapter 112 Nice Meal
In the wasteland where even the ground seemed to die, a team of scouts on magic bulls were running for their life. Their clothes were tattered and drenched in sweat. The horror expressed on their face revealed that they were in a panic as they occasionally looked back like something dreadful was chasing them.
The sound of large hooves thumped from behind. It got louder as the sound came ever closer.
The scouts were made of five people, led by a captain. Their task was to gather as much information as possible. And to do that, they must stay outside the safety of the wall.
"Faster!" Their captain shouted. "The bird should have arrived by now. Reinforcement will come. We'll just have to survive for a little while."
He lied. The army must be busy fighting against the horde of undead sieging the wall. How would they save the scout team if they didn't even have enough people to handle the siege?
