CHAPTER 77 SWORD SLASH CITY

They then explored again, searching for another city.

After 3 days, they finally found one. It was a city that seemed very focused on the ways of using swords; nearly everyone was using swords. Even the city name was Sword Slash City.

Like before, Shadow sneaks towards the city-lord mansion.

After searching for information, he found out that Fyuji (the city lord of Sword Slash City) was like Reiso (the city lord of Sgety City). He was also a disciple of a sect in the higher realm, but his sect was a righteous one; it was the Sword Path Sect.

After finding out about this information, he had Scarlet enter a sword competition and give Mira the same task as Arian in Sgety City.

"Scarlet won the tournament in first place, while Mira needed to find three great spots for the conqueror gang: the Eligan Pill Store and the Exotic Beast Store." After informing them, he started to walk around the city.

He saw many stores that were mostly selling swords or sword techniques.

He became even more interested in the city when he found many people bringing their swords and showing off their techniques.

He kept observing the city until it was sundown. He then returned to the hotel.

When he got there, he saw Mira and Peach; they seemed to be discussing something.

He then lets out a cough, informing him of his presence.

"Oh, master, you have returned. We were just discussing the spots we found; in total, we found 7 suitable spots for building whether a shop or a conqueror gang." Mira then explained the spots they found.

Shadow nodded and spoke, "Buy all the spots, pick the spot that is nearer to the gate, and build the conqueror gang there; the rest will be shops for pills, beasts, and equipment."

After that, he also ordered them, "Call Scarlet back; we are going to be in a friendly relationship with Sword Slash City. At least for now, tomorrow I will go to the city lord mansion to talk with the city lord, so finish arranging the things that I left you."

He then meditated, seeing this peach, and Mira also meditated.

The next day, Shadow and the girls left to finish their task, and Shadow once again sneaked inside the city lord mansion.

After getting inside, he searched for where the city lord was. He then found him practicing his sword in his garden.

Shadow let out a startling cough. Fyuji saw a stranger come inside, and the guards did not even inform him, meaning that this person sneaked in.

He raised his sword and pointed it at Shadow. He then shouted, "Who are you, and what do you want from me?"

He was very nervous in Shadow's presence to come near him without being discovered, which speaks to how vast the distance is between their strengths.

Shadow smiled even though he knew that the questions earlier were just distractions; their true purpose was to alarm the guards in the mansion, but still he answered.

"I am Shadow, a king, and I want to have an alliance with you in the lower realm."

Fyuji pupils were constricted when he heard that Shadow was a king; it only meant one thing: that he had already ascended to a higher realm.

He then bowed to Shadow and spoke courteously, "I apologise for shouting earlier, King Shadow, and I fully accept your alliance."

Suddenly guards started to come. Fyuji waved his hand, signalling them to stay put.

Hearing Fyuji accept his proposal, he laughs and leaves, but he does leave behind a couple of words in a paper, Conqueror Gang.

Shadow then waited for the three girls to return; he was in the hotel.

An hour later, the girls return, and Mira and Scarlet seem to be bickering.

He helplessly waved his hand, signalling them to be quiet before speaking.

"Change of plan, Scarlet. When we return to Eligan Kingdom, I want you to build a sect called Eligan Sword Sect and start recruiting disciples in the lower realm."

Then he pointed at Peach and said, "I want you to build an assassin guild and create a guilty killing list. If a person is found guilty, you can let the others put a bounty on them, and the disciples will be the ones hunting."

He then looks at Mira seriously. "Mira, I want you to work with Peach, the guild that the two of you are building is the Eligan Guild. There are two responsibilities in the guild; yours is collecting information while you already know what the Peach task is."

"Also, two of the spots that we own will be the places where we are going to build the Eligan Guild and Eligan Sword Sect. I will leave and return to Eligan Kingdom to take some talented individuals to man the branches here in Sword Slash City."

"Also starts recruiting, buying, and adopting slaves or orphans for our guild or sect."

After saying that he left, he actually changed his plan when he thought that this method could help him secure a city or two without much bloodshed.

He then returns to Eligan Kingdom and takes some talented individuals in the paths of spies and assassins and also in the paths of swords. He also takes some of the orphans he adopted and trains them in Eligan Guild.

After finding 100 individuals, he then had Thunder take them to Sword Slash City and give the responsibility of taking care of the 10 individuals to his three disciples.

He then told the girls that he would return after exploring some of the dangerous places near the city.

After inquiring about dangerous places near Sword Slash City, he only found one: a place called Dark Hole. It was an underground ruin. It was a place full of horrific beasts, and a portal to another world appeared there, making it more dangerous.

After getting this information, he decided to explore this black hole. He then entered the hole and started to go down.

Everything was pitch black, but for him, it was bright. He had activated [Origin Mode] and increased the origin energy in his eyes.
