CHAPTER 69 WAR ON THE OTHER CITIES

He then had the soldiers guard the fortress much more strictly and started to attack the demonic beast in range using [Flaming Origin Slash] and [Origin Powered Thunder Beam].

An hour later, the portal in the Black Fortress lit up, bringing the Eligan City army with Lou Yan leading them.

Shadow then nodded and had Lou Yan grasp the situation. The portal was still ongoing, and the soldiers still kept coming.

He then nodded at Lou Yan and flew towards the demonic beast horde, sneaking at them while avoiding the stronger demonic beings.

The demonic beings cannot get close to the fortress with Lou Yan guarding it. Rains of arrows greet them; if they even managed to come close to 10 metres, the cavalry would destroy them easily.

After waiting for a whole day, Glutton finally arrives with his pack. With this, they can hunt the demonic beings. He told Thunder and Blast to guard Eligan City, so Clwyd is the only beast left that he was waiting for.

He then had Glutton hunt the demonic beast that was first to come out of the portal and was now roaming in different places.

He was still waiting for Clwyd, but with the war of demonic beasts and soldiers, he could not rest and started to kill as much as he could.

After continuously killing for a whole day, he was exhausted and returned to the fortress to rest with the soldiers guarding this place. He was not worried, even though the number of soldiers that came was only half of the total number of soldiers in Eligan City; they were all elites.

The next morning, after resting the whole day, he was full of energy. Also, Clwyd had arrived, so he started to hunt some more and kept earning points. Clwyd was rampaging in the beast horde while he was targeting the stronger demonic being.

*Boom* Even though he was already in [Dragon Form] and [Origin Mode], he was still blown away by a brutal-looking demon with bulging muscles. He could not contest it with pure strength, so he immediately used Thunder's [Thunder Dragon Domain].

Lighting continuously struck down on the demon while fighting with Shadow, even though every collision would blow away its opponent, but its injury kept getting graver.

When Shadow saw that his opponent was close to dying, he was prepared to strike it one last time when arrows rained down on him, making him retreat.

He then turns his head to see where the attack came from; it was actually the same demon that targeted him yesterday. He was regretful but still retreated with Clwyd.

The situation was now in their favour when the Xiantian lords arrived. They then pushed forward, making the demonic beings retread to the portal.

After a continuous battle for a month, they finally arrive at a stalemate and cannot gain any advantage in attacking, so they started to ceasefire.

There were many deaths on both sides, but the ones who truly had the most deaths were the demonic beings.

The Black Fortress has also suffered some damage but is still intact.

"Banjo, make the fortress sturdier and bigger. We will leave this place to you. I will have the scholars guard the portal so that it will always stay on. Don't hesitate to call for help." He then nodded and left. He also wanted to use the things he gained from exchanging the war points he gained.

The rewards in the following 3 dens and a den that cause him to use all of his War Points A dragons den

Dragons Den: A den specifically made for dragon species, it will increase the eggs produced and hasten the incubating process.

Additional Ability: Will summon a Gold Level Flood Dragon every decade, and each of them will be the same type of dragon as the den owner.

Shadowslash then returned to Eligan City with half of the soldiers in Black Fortress. He then went to Thunder and gave him the Dragon's Den.

Shadowslash then picked Blast as the den owner and used the remaining two den orbs to strengthen Glutton and Blast. He did not choose Vixen's den because the foxes did not greatly enhance the city's strength.

After finishing his mission on Beast Paradise Island, he teleported to Frevi City to know its present condition. When he got there, he felt the atmosphere was very tense; it seems that war is still ongoing.

At least it is not without any reward, unlike him, who has the system that converts contributions to war points. The other territories will gain an amount of spirit energy for every otherworlder killed.

He then flew towards the battlefield and saw that the otherworlders that they are fighting look like some kind of human, but they are controlling some kind of spirit beast.

He nodded and left for him. The spirit race might be mysterious, but the demon race is much more powerful.

He then teleported to Beast God City and found that the city seems to be in fighting mode, and unlike the tense atmosphere of Frevi City, the atmosphere in this place seems very excited. He shook his head, knowing the demi-human characteristics.

He then goes to the conqueror gang and finds that the noisy headquarters seems very quiet, and he sees that there are only a few people in the place.
