CHAPTER 130 NEMESIS ll

"I see that you are confused, then, in respect of your strength, I shall tell you this: I am your nemesis, I am the predator, and you are the prey; your will be unable to fight with your entire strength as long as you are against me." Shadow calmly states.

"Lies!" The centaur is furious; he charges with blood-red eyes. Shadow sighs; he then stomps the ground, and his body accelerates. He is a lot slower than the centaur, but because of his unique eyes and senses, he can sense his presence.

[Lightning Flash]

With a quick burst, the two clash with their weapons, a bright light flashes in Shadow's eyes, the centaur quickly retreats, and he cautiously watches his movement.

'What the hell did he do? ' As this question flashes in his head, he feels a tearing pain in his back; it is as if he is slashed by something sharp.

He roars in pain, trying to recollect himself. He stares at Shadow with disbelief; he cannot believe that he was attacked. He does not see him moving, just watching him with a devious smile on his face.

He frowns, and suddenly he senses his energy being sapped at an incredible rate, just like what had happened in his fight with Glutton.

He tries to retreat, and Shadow chases after him. He throws his axe, but his target dodges it narrowly. He is shocked by this; he cannot believe that his attacks are being blocked and dodged so easily. He is confident in his speed.

ROAR! He shouts out loud; the tattoos in his body seem to react violently and actually start to fuse in his entire being, no longer carvings inside his body.

Shadow is forced to retreat, and the other him disperses in the air. Yes, he has been using the skill [Devour] and Glutton's domain [Devour] to recover his strength since he knows that he has to continue fighting after this battle.

He had put the centaur in an illusion while using his essence to recover, but it seems that this method is no longer effective; his opponent has used a forbidden move to destroy his mind and increase his strength exponentially.

'What i-BANG! He is blown away by a powerful punch in the face; his nose is cracked, and it is now bleeding. He tries to steady himself, but another powerful attack hits him, this time on the back of his head, which makes him disoriented.

'Fxck! ' He curses inwardly as he receives another powerful attack; it was too fast for his domain to react. He can anticipate the attack, but his movement is too slow to react timely.

His entire surroundings are covered with lightning; the centaur cries in pain as it hits him; the attack is too wide; and he is too close to Shadow to dodge. He might have become stronger, but in order to be so, he has to forsake any hint of defence in his system.

Shadow grabs his hand and smiles; his face is now bleeding and unsightly, but he does not care. "Got you, bxstard."

The centaur grits his teeth, raises his axee, and tries to cut down the hand grabbing him, but it is futile; some sort of scale grows around it, preventing the axee from cutting it down.

Dragon Body Technique: Activate

Together with his now active talent [Primordial Dragon Body], he has sealed his skills and talent, afraid that the changes in his partners will change them and he will make a mistake during a battle.

The sensation of being sucked is not pleasing for the centaur; he feels his energy being stolen at a rate that is actually much faster than Glutton's because of their prolonged contact.

"Let go! Let go! Let go!" Hysterically smashing his axe on Shadow's hand, he tries to escape his grasp, but it is futile. With the scales, he is unable to deal much damage, especially since his strength is weakening by the second.

Shadow calmly stares at his opponent as his body gets thinner. He is now reacting wildly, trying to do all sorts of attacks in order to escape his grasp.

Without his support, the surroundings start crumbling away, and the domain is no longer capable of sustaining itself.

Shadow inwardly sighs. He thought that with such a great example, he should have been able to learn something and develop his domain, but it seems that since his domain is unique, he is unable to upgrade it himself; the owners must be the ones to upgrade their domain.

"How pitiful! You are a great warrior, besting one of my trusted comrades, but unfortunately, you are facing me. Your tattoos are powerful, but they are not innately yours and were just borrowed from someone in your clan that has a much higher ranking bloodline than yours."

He points at his heart and says, "You are not the only one with foreign help; I have a partner whose bloodline surpasses your helper, making it impossible for your barrier to block my attack; it is suppressed by a much higher bloodline."

The centaur looks at him with a complicated expression. He has accepted his death; he can no longer move, much less capable of doing anything drastic.

"In order to honour you, I shall finish you off and end your suffering." Shadow raises his sword and stabs it in the centaur's heart; he is unable to do anything but watch as the sword pierces his heart.

The life in his eyes extinguishes; he is dead. A powerful warrior who has defeated Glutton died in such an unsightly manner. It is truly a sad death for such a warrior.

Coming out of the domain, Shadow is presented with the lineup of his soul partners, other than Vixen, who is still travelling to this place. Everyone is present, and he cannot help but smile widely as he scans them. He no longer needs to seal his innate talent and skills.

His strength increases more than ten times, especially after seeing Terra's new skills and abilities. He cannot help but laugh out loud. The soldiers look at him, and the worry in their hearts lightens immediately.
