Su Ning

Wow! What a wonderful family I have!

Su Qing felt satisfied in her heart as she comforted her sister, "It's alright. Big Sis, it's not your fault. You'll know very soon what happened. Now don't cry, okay?"

Su Lingzhi tried to stop crying as Su Qing wiped her face with her sleeves as she smiled faintly. 

The scene of this family reunion was very heart warming, but it didn't last long as the Ptriarch Su interrupted them in the middle. 

"Alright. Let us assemble in the hall. We will have a good conversation there today!" Su Bai announced as he turned around and went inside the hall with long strides but stopped halfway when he heard Su Lingzhi's whining coming from behind. 

The three sisters look almost identical with similar looks, the only difference between them is their height.

Su  Lingzhi puffed up her cheeks as she saud, "Grandfather, Qing'er just came back from outside after a long time. Look how thin and messy she is!"

She lifted Su Qing's hand as she showed to Su Bai, "See? Your interrogation can wait, I'm taking my sister with me. After Qing qing ate her fill and dressed up, I'll take her to the ancestral hall myself!"

No matter what, Su Bai couldn't bring himself to order or to scold these girls. He just doesn't have the heart to do so!

"Do whatever you want," He sighed as he turned back and walked away. 

"Yay! Let's go, sister." Su Lingzhi joiced like a three year old as she dragged Su Qing away.

"Wait! I'm coming too, Big sister!" Su Jue laughed as she ran after them to catch up.

"..."

After two and half an hour,

"This is too much! These girls really have the nerve to make the lord wait for this long! Lord, you must do something about this!" One of the elders stood up as he fired up after waiting for a long time for the sisters to arrive.

But sadly, even their shadows weren't seen by them after this long!

"Yes, Lord. You are adoring them too much. That's why the Second Lady was able to act so boldly to the point of giving away the precious jade token to an outsider!" Another elder tried to use this opportunity to make Su Bai get angry. But with one glare, all of them went completely silent. 

"Whether or not I'm spoiling my granddaughters is none of your business! You guys are here to only witness the trial, not to question my paternity!" Su Bai declared with a strong and resolute voice which made the elders become silent.

Su Jiu was also standing by his father's side, he felt grateful when he saw how his father protected his daughters despite Su Qing being suspicious about the case of Jade token.

The token was the most valuable asset in the entire Su Clan, so when it went missing and came back with Rong Jin, it caused quite a big uproar.

And now Su Qing was charged for betraying the Clan and giving away the precious item which was entrusted in her hands by Su Bai himself.

Naturally, the elders being angry over her was something unavoidable. 

While the elders were fuming quitely, the door to the ancestral hall opened as two girls walked inside.

"Where is Qing qing? She didn't come?" Su Bai was surprised to see the two sisters that came in, but there was no trace of Su Qing. 

"Don't worry, Grandfather. Qing'er is preparing to come here soon." Su Lingzhi assured her Grandfather and the elders as she went towards her seat and sat down.

Everyone in the family, including all the children of the Su household, was obliged to come in the ancestral hall during any type of hearing or family discussions.

No matter what kind of discussion this is, the children and adults have to come and can take part in the discussion actively.

This was one of the set rules of the Su Household, so that the children can learn and give their own opinions about every decision made in the house.

It was also a great way to learn, so Su Bai always encouraged them to take part in this. This was also the reason why Su Lingzhi and Su Jue were allowed to come here and take a seat.

Everyone in the family has a reserved seat for themselves, and like this, the other cousins of Su Qing and Su Jiu's brothers, and sisters slowly started to gather in the hall one by one.

At the moment, 

A beautiful guy with an effeminate look came inside the ancestral hall as he bowed towards Su Bai and greeted the elders.

"A'Ning pays respect to grandfather and the elders." 

"You are here, come by my side and take a seat, Ning." Su Bai received the bow as he was delighted to see the eldest child after a long time.

Su Ning is the oldest among all the children in the Su family, he is also a high ranking government official in the continent. 

And he was also one of the few people who genuinely adored Su Qing and her sisters.

Su Ning was always busy after he became a government official, but he never forgot to make time in his busy schedule to come home and bring the desserts that Su Qing liked to eat.

But after Su Qing disappeared, he also started to become neutral as he turned less interested in coming back home.

So when Su Qing returned, Su Bai immediately sent him a message relaying the information of Su Qing's return.

Su Bai felt happy when he heard that Su Ning was coming back to see Su Qing right away. 

'At last, it looks like the broken family of ours is going to be repaired once again.' Su Bai felt grateful for her return. Because her return in the Su Household held a big deal.
