“Hey Alex, I see that you’re a prodigy. Your combat power is as amazing as your cultivation.” He stood before Alex as he scrutinized him.

“Ah?” Alex was at first surprised. Then, he thought that this person was here to mock him or something. So, he said, “No, not at all. These monsters here were too weak. I haven’t even fought yet. I was just beating them up.”

They were completely speechless about Alex’s words. Then they thought to themselves, ‘Of course, we know that! That’s why the test had to be concluded or you would end up killing all the stock of monsters here. The evaluation was for you to defeat the monsters and not to kill them!’

Of course they had to stop Alex from killing the monsters. There were several people that were evaluated and were either in rank 4 or rank 5. So, the monsters were still needed for the evaluation. The guild couldn’t keep that many monsters as it would cost them a lot to feed them.
